- What a comeback! This is a wonderful song from TWICE that is truly endearing. The nostalgic vibe of the song comes across in its throwback sound, with driving, punchy percussion and rich synth theme. The vocal melodies are delicate at times, but bring a powerful richness in the chorus section. The vocal harmonies are arranged in a very deliberate and interesting manner, and I think this is an expression of the teamwork and friendship between the members. The bass line is particularly well written, though this may go unnoticed by more casual listeners. It is definitely doing a lot of work, however. There are clean guitar and piano sounds rounding out the rhythm section.
All in all, this is a beautiful comeback track for TWICE. It is a song that marks their tenure as a very successful group, acknowledging the years that they have spent working together, while also focusing on the path ahead.
The message is clearly the importance of their relationship and how they have grown together to become capable enough to handle anything that comes their way, as long as they are together. ❤

I missed you in your absence, welcome back. The analysis is spot on and from the heart. The production now is so smooth, ethereal as you say, supported by some nice layering in the bg vocals. Someone called this Twice's "easy listening" period haha.
Congrats to them on hitting #1 on Billboard for the album. If you don't have time to do a run-down on the album at least give us your thoughts on "Bloom".

They did first performances of both songs in the US on The Today Show (morning tv) and are now back in Korea for the show appearances. They are obviously getting ready for the Vegas show on the 16th March (after doing the Mexico and Brazil concerts). Then 4 Japan shows in July... hoping to be at the final 2 Yokohama shows...
