Soo true, no one should call Shadow an edgeloard especially because of how much of a fact it is that SEGA managed to pretty-much alienate almost the whole Sonic fanbase when they got into making Shadow behave as an edgeloard because of how true it is that that company had drained all the important character developement (with his personality being peak in 06) that had caused so many people to become fans of him, out of him! A majority of people who for any reasons know how much of a better character he previously was have been begging for that better version of Shadow who has a heart and does heroic stuff in his own unique ways to finally return to being cannon! I want that version of him to be back too, and it looks like that's been starting to happen in this game, the Dark Beginnings episodes, and the Sonic Prime show, so PLEASE may they NOT ruin him again by turning him back into an edgeloard afterwards! It looks like his movie counterpart is in good hands at Paramount especially because the first official full-length trailer showed that they are not leaving his important backstory out of that upcoming movie.

I just got this game for my 40th bday and I can’t explain how happy I was to see a little booklet inside. I grew up reading and collecting game manuals and that one little inclusion sent me back to those days. I’m deeply appreciative of this small useless but treasured bonus😂
If SEGA/SonicTeam ever make another Sonic game that features Sonic, Shadow, and Silver, they should have different gameplay styles. Sonic being the speed character (of course), Shadow being the combat character, and Silver being the puzzle character but also with a slight mix of Sonic and Shadow.
Just buy a physical copy then the storage requirement will be a lot lower. For example, a switch physical copy of frontiers is only just over 4 gigs on switch.
I will say that Sonic Frontiers still more hype than Sonic X Shadow Generations. Overall Sonic X Shadow Generations maybe almost same, but if this game success, then thx to Shadow's Gameplay. I must admit Shadow's Gameplay just much better than Sonic's part.

I have 540 hours on Frontiers (steam) and I like the controls for Keyboard and mouse. Although I still recommend a controller if you're not used on keyboard+mouse. I'm telling this because I think this game is gonna have the same control scheme Frontiers used.

Honestly, sunset heights was the only level theme from forces that I genuinely enjoyed but forces itself made the level bad. Exited to see what shadow gens will do with it!

“The majority is the same game” the shadow generations part is about the same length of Sonic generations your paying for 50% new content. $50 is a really good price shadow generations alone should be $30 given it’s a whole new game and then your paying $20 for Sonic generations with quality of life changes which isn’t a bad price at all. You could even make the argument the shadow portion could be even more given Sonic gen’s was $60 on release

They claimed they have made a remaster but it’s just an enhanced port with extra chao cutscene and dialogue tweaks and a drop dash that’s all that’s new no new content no new levels or bosses or cool features it’s just 60fps and 4k on consoles but if you ask me it’s a lazy attempt I guess we are getting shadow generations but it’s still not worth paying full price for

Its cool that Sega went further than just remastering Generations. They have been really cooking with Shadow lately, Kingdom Valley looks awesome.
