I look like a baby deer learning to walk with back lunges 😂 I need to do unilateral work, but I prioritize going heavy so it's hard to fit it into the program.
@JustinaErcole I’m entering a hypertrophy program after the new year since I’ve been focusing on strength for the last six months, so I’ll 100% make unilateral work a priority in that format. I will need the lower weights anyway since I’m so unbalanced lol, but I dread how long those sets are gonna take if I’m slow and wobbly 😂
My upper body normally goes forward, hinging at the hip, for these. Is that normal? Otherwise, I feel like I rely too much on the back leg and/or lose balance. Also, love your channel, coach ❤ Have recommended to many of my friends 😊
My knees hate back lunges 🙃
I need to learn this for curtsy lunges !!
Ooh I’ll add to my list!
@ yes!! Thank u so much!!!! I always feel like my knee, foot and leg are angled wrong
Needed this

You’d be surprised how much unilateral work can support your big lifts!

Some hinge is fine, but if you’re folding forward that’s a different story!
Thank you so much for your reply ❤ I'll make sure it's not a "chest to the leg' situation 😊
