As a Canucks fan I'm happy & equally confused. How do you lose like that yesterday and blank the leafs in Toronto like this today? They're baffling this year.
Weird how that happens eh? TO winners of 5 of their last 6, Canucks on a back to back, and not arriving in town until noon due to bad weather, and they get the win. They kept it simple and boring. One thing is for certain : if the same variables were involved, but the only difference in the equation was that it was played in Vancouver, my money would be on the Leafs to win. Canucks have extreme difficulties with playing a simple game at home.
Yup, making moves and breaking ankles as usual, typical Quinn Hughes being a generational talent. and I have to say... Cale who? Only legit Norris candidate this year is Quinn Hughes!

Pettersson without a shot last night or in Carolina. $144,000 a game.
Pettersson, who got an assist, and put on a Selke teir performance both games, showing he still earns his pay even when his offense isn't at its best. JT Miler, a bona-fide power forward, who CAN play good 2 way hockey but if he gets mad or frustrated, he stops skating and can't play a lick of defense or score goals. Pettersson, a guy who can wind you games, but even when he's playing "bad" won't lose you games. JT Miller, a guy who can go beast mode and score 4 points and win you a game, or go wimp mode and cost you 4 goals and lose you a game.
I feel for fans who paid for this garbage game. If Nucks don't make wild card, will Nuck fans riot and pillage their city again? NOW THAT WAS FUN TO WATCH LOL

@@Mulder-Scully Although technically, we were awarded one. We just did something that we rarely do : scored on the delayed call. Hats off to the Canucks in the buildup to that goal taking their time and not being impatient. One of their top 10 performances of the year IMO.

The Leafs lost in a shutout to a Canucks team who just played the night before and were stuck in a snowstorm. The only thing that would have made this loss worse is if the Canucks had to dress an EBUG...but that's not realistic.
The Canucks beat the Leafs which is like the Stanley Cup in Vancouver but the problem is still there with the Canucks only putting up 18 shots on net last night. The plus is that the Canucks have found a replacement for injury prone Demko who is very unreliable and needs to be traded for whatever you can get before career ending injury or he retires. Canucks need more PUCKS ON NET.
This was by far the worst leafs game this season and honestly probably in a few years past. They showed 0 sign of wanting to be there and wanting to play. Such an embarrassing loss :(
