You have a championship coach, been to an NBA championship and won a championship/ also a Olympics gold medalist(Udoka), you have a PG of a championship team (Vanvleet), you have a former champion(Jeff Green), been to the playoffs/conference finals ( Steven Adams), former NBA champion (Tiago Splitter) and a FIBA bronze medalist (Brooks). You have all the corporate knowledge from either former champions or Spurs players/coaches. If they didn't improve this year, then it's a wasted year.
