@@WorldofFusion360 Hey! Yeah. I can look at the object in CFD model assesment tool with no issues but if I continue to export it to CFD the shell of my object goes missing. CFD gives a warning that the model will likely not load correctly. There's no gaps in the model, it's a vacuum nozzle that goes from 1 shape to another.
Hello, I am trying the export and import into CFD option but I end up getting the initial p trap design than we imported instead of the split one. What could be the issue
@@WorldofFusion360 Yes I did that as well, I have CFD 2021 and the latest Fusion Update from day before yesterday, where they introduced Mesh in the top tabs, but even then it's not working Can you please guide me over a Skype call, if that's not a problem??
@@WorldofFusion360 something I have come across is that due to not having a toolbar, if I export the design as a step file and open in CFD, the bodies are no longer combined and the model will arrive without the alterations I made. Could you advise?
@@rhiannasweeney1093 every change you make in simulation workspace won't be exported as step. You change it in design workspace directly and then export it.
@@WorldofFusion360 Thank you for your reply! If I am creating the alterations in the design space, how then do I create the fluid volume? By using 'boundary fill'?
@@WorldofFusion360 You modeled both the tube and the water that is inside. My question is if it wouldn't suffice to only model the volume where the water is.
thank you soooo much!! your explanation was the best
This video saved me from my senior design class thank you so much!
Glad it helped
Great video. I like the way you upload slamming stuff with badass music and SFX like a proper baller. MEBS
Glad you liked it.
Very nice explanation of the essentials of F360... Thank you very much.
Thanks for watching
Simple to follow and understand.
How to add CFD to fusion tool
It will come automatically if it is installed properly
Very well detailed tutorial👍
Thank you
Informative!
Thank you
Very informative and well explained!
Thank you so much mam
Yaya i did this thanks I subscribed ❤️
Glad you subscribed
Good one buddy 😃
Thanks 😁
nice explanation keep it up!!
Thank you
super ra neat and clear explaination
Thank you so much
Mine doesn't have the CFD 2021 icon or the tool tab. Is this now an outdated feature? or now something you have to pay for?
Never mind - found out you have to pay for it. devastated!
If you have an education licence it's free
@@WorldofFusion360 Sadly not I'm afraid, but thank you. And great video I forgot to say!
Part of my model disappears if I open cfd, any idea why?
Is it happening when you switch from fusion to cfd?

Try exporting that model from fusion as a step and try importing in CFD
@@WorldofFusion360 no luck :(
I’m yet to see cfd on a mep/piping system. All i see are cfds done on a piece of pipe or a space.
This was done to explore the software tools. I'm sure there is no boundaries for working.

Then you make modifications directly in the design workspace and export it from fusion as step/iges and then import to CFD.
what is the add-in or extension installed in Fusion 360 to perform this simulation?
Autodesk CFD is an external application you need to install to switch from fusion 360. No additional add-in or extension needed.
why there is no tools tab in ny fusion 360 5:55
You'll find it only when you switch to simulation and that too inside simplify.

i have no tools tab under simplify

It will automatically come when Autodesk CFD is properly installed
Hey man I'm not getting the option for Tools in the Simplify menu.
Can you please tell me how to enable it.
Did you followed the process or you just checked in?

Hello Sir. I am requesting you to make a video for flowing of fluid in a reactor
Thank you for the suggestion, but that is out of my skill level
Can you simulate airfoil vortex generator please for lift and drag and stall angle pleaseee
Thank you but it is out of my skill level
It's magic
🤣
how to add in fusion 360 CFD .pls answer me bro
Install CFD from autodesk
i install CF2021 in pc but i can't see CFD icon
how to find CFD icon
how to find out the fluid flowrate?
Use wall calculator to find all the parameters that u need
Do I have to pay for the McMaster Carr model?
Nah

In general it happens like that
You should have provided the 3d model file
We did provided those. Just download the models via link

Hey follow the video, we have imported using MCMASTER-CARR
I guess you don't need the pipe? Only use the body the water.
Please post your query clear

You can do that too. If you have the inner CAD profile of water. In this case we don't. So, I did created from pipe.
