Bro, you should add a few seconds of dark screen with a flashing lights warning /before/ the video starts. When your music comes up on the playlist it always flashbangs me before I have the chance to scroll down or exit out, especially since youtube refuses to scroll down the screen while the page is still loading. It doesn't do me any good to have it in the description if it's already made me sick because it starts the nanosecond the video loads up.
I dont know if its something wrong with my headphones or what, but I feel like this song lacks bass? The drop has bass, but the rest of the song it feels like its lacking, some depth. It sounds very distant and flat :( Kind of hurts my ears tbh. Which is weird cause I love all other Ymir songs. Ive gone back to listen to Fall and it has alot of bass, plus I have many different bass boosts on my sound setting so honestly I dont think its my headset. Also Ymirs voice sound very far away and nasal, like a radio sound, not round and warm as he usually sounds. Idk if all this is intentional, but it doesnt please my ear unfortunately D: This whole song hurts my ears, Ive tried listening to it many times now but its just painful. Its a shame cuz its not a bad song, its just something with the sound settings they did. I envy you guys who can enjoy it. Sorry for the critisism
Hey! Thankya for the criticism actually! I didn't go as hard as I usually do in the mix this time around since we wanted to hit a deadline. Plus my verses where meant to be a little more subdued to emphasis the hit of the drops. Check soundcloud tho to see if it sounds a bit better! TH-cam compression can be a little finicky. But I will definitely keep this in mind for future tracks ☺️🙏
