Casting a Brass Sign for Tinna

This video shows the process of casting a brass name plate for my mother Tinna, who just got her professor title at University of Aarhus (Denmark).
The mold is made using a 3D printed piece of plastic which is covered in our homemade casting sand. Two parts copper and one part zinc is alloyed together to create the brass used for this casting.

aw ya could of gone a lil more with the buffing but thats cool, it won't oxidize correct? will it maintain its colour for eternity? cool
