You need to solder or crimp the connection. Just twisting it is not good enough. Over time this will corrode and get hot. Thanks for the wiring diagram though. That's what I was looking for.

@@wihaf check that and direct to 12 volt battery still no light on switch so ordered 2 more and same thing no light opened them up all looks well light bulb everything tight still no light on switches

It looked as though it was wired backwards. On (O) was off and off (-) was on.
(O) means "OPEN" & (-) means "CLOSED" 🙄
