Today I made a homemade saw table from an angle grinder. With the very high speed of the angle grinder, I think this project is not very safe. I think I will need a better new project. Comments are welcome.

For anyone whos gonna make this project:
(1) It's "safe" if you have angle grinder with speed controller. For safety use, set it's speed to 50-60%. If the angle grinder doesn't have speed controller, you can buy a voltage 220V dimmer. There's a lot in online shop.
(2) Make sure your _circular saw blade_ can withstand the rpm of the angle grinder. Usually angle grinder have 10,000-12,000rpm, 50% of it is 5,000-6,000rpm. You should buy the blade with minimum spesification is ±5,000rpm, and 7inch blade. Don't use blade size above it.
(3) In my case, I have angle grinder Hitachi, and I turned it to 7 inch circular saw. I've been using it for about 6 month, and still doing good. The blade I'm using is Bulls AKB 7inch, max 5,000rpm.

This is very true, grinder's spec rating (11000 rpm must coincide with the cutting disc of correct speed of rpm ) fitted for the angle grinder with high sleed rpm, because, it will be very dangerous for a user, who is not well versed on this particular use of grinder speed against cutting disc rpm, whic can cause serious accidents. Online sellers should emphasize this as a warning to power tools buyer, thank you.
If the window has rubber layers, no small punch will break it into tiny but SEPARABLE fragments. You still have to punch it out strongly with your feet (although it is now pulverized "almost")

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice th-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

RPM gerinda tangan 10 ribu lebih...itu berbahaya kalo buat mata potong kayu...harus ada drimer ,buat mengatur kecepatan...ingat. Maximal kecepatan harus di 6 ribu RPM...

من ناحية الفكرة هي جميلة لكن الصاروخ خطر لانه يدور كثير . وقرص المنشار كبير على الصاروخ . ثانيا طاولة الخشب لاتصلح لان الخشب يتمدد ويتقلص ومن الاحسن الطاولة تكون من الحديد .

Thank you! It's a DCA machine I bought from second hand. I don't think it's a good machine. However, because the cost is still limited, I will use it for the time being.

Si la amoladora es de 7" ya viene con la velocidad para discos de 7 " .
si es amoladora de 4.1/2 tendra muchas revoluciones, hasta 13000 rpm , en ese caso si seria bueno que sea de velocidad variable . Solo es cuestion de que obtengan la velocidad tangencial con la q se debe usar cada disco y con la que se debe cortar cada material 50 , 60 ,70 u 80 m/s hacen la formula segun el disco q estan usando( le preguntan a chat gpt) y listo ya sabran q velocidad aproximada ponerle a su amoladora para ciertos discos o oara ciertos materiales!

Yes..with high rpm and low torque I have found it dangerous. So I made another saw table from a circular saw. Please visit and comment on it

Very unsafe construction !!!!! Furthermore the angle grinder NEEDS to breathe . Otherwise will be overheated and burned . The diameter of the disk is too big for the motor
