Can someone tell me why is it so dangerous when a bell is in the up position?? What can or could happen to someone who pulls the rope as a dare or is inexperienced??
@@fredmills368 that is an obvious answer i get that but is it a case of the bell will swing out of control to an inexperienced person in the up position which could dislodge and fall onto you and kill you?
@@fredmills368 if the rope was pulled by someone inexperienced and the bell it was in the up position in the ringing room and the rope was swinging crazy is it safe to say exit the room immediately??
If you are in the belfry it would kill you if you got in its swing. In the ringing room the rope would get out of control and whip about which can still be also dangerous
I could tell these bells sound beautiful anyway they're turned in the major key of G#/Ab (G sharp or A flat)
Amazingly clean bell chamber, but very nice peal of bells
These sound so like the bells I ring
Which are...?
Matthew Thewsey Standish

For a person to pull a rope being inexperienced it means that the bell would go out of control and the rope would whip around

Bellissime campane ... !!!
and, here... We...GO!
Lovely bells. Clapper seems a bit dry at 0:22.
What do you mean by a dry clapper. Haha
The clapper bearing just below the crown seems a bit dry.
@@ar_ringingvideos7428 The bearings are sealed on the clappers. If they look wet, something has gone wrong.
