The lightsticks are a part of EXO's official merchandise and it's one of the items that fans purchase to represent that they are a member of EXO's fandom. The lightsticks are controlled by bluetooth so the lighting technicians can change the color of the lightsticks whenever they want and they can make it flash and pulse to the music. Plus, each of the EXO members have their own official color so, often when specific members are performing on stage they change the color to whatever color coincides with that member. Almost all Kpop groups have an official lightstick and official fandom color The fans spend a pretty good amount of money to purchase those lightsticks. I am sure if you google any group with the word lightstick you will find several sites where they are for sale. But be warned, most are pretty expensive because most are more than just a light. :D EXO's lightstick has the EXO hexagon symbol on top and it says EXO in the middle. personally, i think concerts are what made exo so stable during performances! all their concerts last a good 3hrs so from touring for years they built a stamina(it definitely happened just after their second tour in 2015/16 too)
Yess It's a LIGHTSTICK. Every fandom of kpop have treir own lightstick, exol as well. We called it ERIBONG. When on concert (especially in Seoul & Japan) all eribongs in the stadium are controled by central system. It has 12 colors btw. And the system controls our eribong to shine in certain color.
Exo power is the first kpop song that was played here in burj khalifa dubai and i am very proud hearing it from the tallest building in the world.... Proud exol here
One thing that I love EXO is that every member shine on thier own. They never overshadow each other. Like every single member differ so much in every aspect from looks and talent but when they stand together, they fit as one.

This was the last set of an almost 3 hour concert. So if you were impressed with EXO's stamina in this set, just imagine that during this concert they performed somewhere between 20 and 30 songs in total and each song and set had its own element of choreography, performance and epic stages. This is just the standard when it comes to EXO concerts and Kpop in general.
Kpop concerts are broken up into sets, such as their Ballad set, their cute/fun set, sexy set, hype set, solo performance set, etc. and each set includes 4 or 5 songs. So the set you just watched is considered their hype set of songs during this concert. And in between sets they play short movie (VCRs) that feature the members as actors that tell a story. This allows them to take about a 5 minute break to change their outfits and to prepare for the next set of songs or the next performance, but other than that, it is pretty much nonstop for 3 hours straight. However, although this was the last set of the concert, it wasn't their last performance. They have an epic encore stage after this one. They had to go backstage and change their clothes to get ready for their next performance. Also, just so you know, the version of "Power" that you heard is their remixed version. They only perform that version in concert. If you listen to the song on the album or you watch the MV, "Plower" is a much different song. You should also check out their original version and watch their "Power" MV.

Those color changing thing you mentioned are called lightsticks. It is a fan necessity in kpop. exo’s lightstick is called an eribong (eri is a nickname for exols and bong is stick in korean) it is connected via bluetooth every concerts that’s why it reacts to the colors of the stages 🥰
also, the last concert/performance we saw EXO as 9 was last 2016. South Korea and China are having political conflicts that’s why Lay can’t join them in the meantime bc he is like an ambassador for a political party there.

I am a DO stan too. But I gotta commend Baekhyun & Chen too for their vocals, they nvr disappoint. Everyone is always outstanding including the dance & rap line, they give their best during their concerts. KPOP is not just dancing. personally, i think concerts are what made exo so stable during performances! all their concerts last a good 3hrs so from touring for years they built a stamina(it definitely happened just after their second tour in 2015/16 too)

Yess It's a LIGHTSTICK. Every fandom of kpop have treir own lightstick, exol as well. We called it ERIBONG. When on concert (especially in Seoul & Japan) all eribongs in the stadium are controled by central system. It has 12 colors btw. And the system controls our eribong to shine in certain color.

It's exo-ls' birthay today and you posted this, it made me even happier. Your eyes were teary after watching them and I do felt you, like for real. Right now, it's still a blur for them to have a concert but I hope when the time comes, when they are altogether again as EXO with 9 members we can watch their concert, it would be a great experience for all of us. This was the last set of an almost 3 hour concert. So if you were impressed with EXO's stamina in this set, just imagine that during this concert they performed somewhere between 20 and 30 songs in total and each song and set had its own element of choreography, performance and epic stages. This is just the standard when it comes to EXO concerts and Kpop in general.
Kpop concerts are broken up into sets, such as their Ballad set, their cute/fun set, sexy set, hype set, solo performance set, etc. and each set includes 4 or 5 songs. So the set you just watched is considered their hype set of songs during this concert. And in between sets they play short movie (VCRs) that feature the members as actors that tell a story. This allows them to take about a 5 minute break to change their outfits and to prepare for the next set of songs or the next performance, but other than that, it is pretty much nonstop for 3 hours straight.
However, although this was the last set of the concert, it wasn't their last performance. They have an epic encore stage after this one. They had to go backstage and change their clothes to get ready for their next performance.
Also, just so you know, the version of "Power" that you heard is their remixed version. They only perform that version in concert. If you listen to the song on the album or you watch the MV, "Plower" is a much different song. You should also check out their original version and watch their "Power" MV.

EXO is known for having the best concert in kpop industry aside from their live vocals their stages is so epic and if you want to watch their concert one day you have to be really quick on purchasing their concert ticket bcuz EXO is known for being the fastest concert tickets sold. They are the one who hold the record of fastest concert tickets sold by 0.2 seconds on their elyxion concert.

Every EXO concerts have 1 segment like a disco segment, where you feel the need to jump with them. As a muslim myself, I've never been a disco or club before. But I think I get the vibe from EXO's concert ☺
