Hey dude, I’ve been working as an engineer for 15+ years now and I want to say the way to approach your job, and how you treat coworkers and talk about the human aspect is incredible. That’s a thought process that will take you VERY far and something I’ve mentored engineers on for years. Keep it up, you’re doing it right. We are coding for people, and that’s the ultimate goal.
Yup. As coders, we code with people and for people, so we can’t forget the human aspect of it all. That’s what makes great products, great engineers, and great leaders
@@KJHardrict and one of the best bits of advice is the code we write is not for the business, or even the customers, the code we write is for the future engineers to read and work with. The products and flows we build are for the business and customers, but the code needs to be legible and friendly to the upcoming maintainers.
I roll my eyes on the day in the life videos…. BUT I think I open up every single one and watch them myself. 😂 Going to start working on my own for a freelance dev. Thanks for sharing your day man!
Hey 1 more thing, I'm currently in high school and want to learn how to code but it's so vast, that i wanna know what must be the 1st thing I should go for or star with
