Hobby is the new retail. Jumbo is the new hobby and the breakers delight is unavailable to purchase and they are juiced.
I was hoping it’d be good for the hobby if Topps got the football license since I like Chrome and Bowman football but I’m worried it will only make it worse now with this “breakers delight” stuff

@@YngMstrWellsnah I’m pretty sure you can get 2 number cards and a low end auto in 5 blasters.
Fanatics saw a smart money move and took it. Having more autos usually means having more auto subjects, and the consensus seemingly was that the market rejected the extra filler auto. Fanatics makes more boxes, adds more parallels which people desire (prizm's rainbow for example) and saves money on buying fewer auto subjects. Honestly it's a win-win.
Casas is on fire for the Red Sox so that is a very good pull
Casas is hella underrated! look at his rookie achievements and you'll wonder why he isn't talked about more.
The autos look very clean and like the players took time signing neatly.. love it!

I opened 4 hobbies. The 4 autos were of rookies that I never heard of. Also, no Corbin Carroll cards at all. Also, I failed to pull an Ohtani nor an Acuna. So much for the MVP buyback. Thanks for the video.
Same for me. I opened two and didn’t pull anything. Not even base RCs of any of the top RCs other than one Greene base.
No one ever had issues with bowman with serial # on the front.. but autos look better cuz number more expensive o right instead dead center
fanatics literally made the product available to us worst to make breaking specific product crazy.

With the wealth of talent rookies…I have watched nearly 99% of the autos pulled are guys with barely any major league time or 28-30 year old “rookies”. Seems good autos are 1 per case…that’s rough
Really solid auto, Vargas is one of the Dodgers top prospects. But overall I’m not feeling Hobby/Jumbo, the Breakers delight boxes seem like the best by far

Ripped a jumbo for $330 and it unfortunately had absolutely nothing in it. Three $5 autos and one $5 numbered card. Honestly isn't worth opening. I would just buy the singles you want till they do better.

175 is a steep price to pay one auto , 2021 topps chrome jumbo is 150 I know checklist isn’t anything to write home about but still for 175 id rather pay 25 less and get 4 Additional autos….
They pretty much killed the Vet Autos, only ones I've seen are 1988 design. So if you get rid of all of the crappy vet pitchers then I'm good with just RC autos.

My Jumbo was was freaking trash bro. 3 garbage autos, only 1 is in pros now others at AAA. Not heard of any of them and I follow baseball. 2 #D vets, 1 SSP worth maybe $40

The numbers on the front is ugly as shit. Also, they barely trimmed the auto checklist. This year, the "base" (i.e. not insert autos) auto checklist is 129 autos, and I'd be happy with MAYBE 10 guys. Last year, rookie base auto and vet base auto checklist combined to be 154 autos, probably about the same amount of players I'd be happy to pull. I'm not counting the insert autos, they're super hard to pull in both sets. They really didn't trim the auto checklist that much at all. And most of the rookie autos are dogshit. I understand that is the appeal of this product, but making the base auto checklist rookies only is a terrible gimmick. Also, the rate of parallels being pulled is abysmal. You'd think with the amount of stupid, ugly parallels numbered to 250 or more they added you'd see more than 1-2 per box, but no. They did do 2 things right this year. The first was adding the Chrome Authentic relic set. I go absolutely nuts for relics with the stamp of approval, I'm strongly considering putting the full set together. The second was upping the QC. I am actually impressed by the QC I've seen over these first few days.

Product is unfortunately terrible for the money. 1 number card of a nobody, Will Brennan auto, multiple duplicates of cards. Wish I hadn't bought the one box I did.
