This series definitely blew it out of the water, young leads aced their crafts and Brimsley and Reynold love is precious, love a light shines on these two characters
As soon as I saw Brimsley and Reynolds in the same shot I was immediately like “I ship them”
I absolutely loved the actor who did the role of King George… He made me feel that man’s pain … It was so haunting that I was afraid to watch the last episode … I was afraid for him!
Right! and to think this was his first big/proper project?? that's crazy

Possibly the best period show I've seen so far. The cast, especially Corey and India, are incredibly amazing.

India and Corey did such a great job in portraying Charlotte and George! In fact, it has been over 10 days and I still find myself crying over Charlotte and George. Both actors have conveyed the true meaning of unconditional love through their characters. This series is very well-written and well-acted. Kudos to the whole team of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. They should be very proud.
Arsema has so much insight into this production. I love hearing her perspective on the culture.

This show is so beautiful and fantastic! Sorry Bridgerton, but Queen Charlotte has so much more depth and such talented actors. It is just amazing to watch! I'm completely in love with this show and the whole cast.

Arsema is a gem
It's really interesting how the young cast behaves here. They act all goofy and bicker playfully in interviews for other platforms (like Buzzfeed, Teen Vogue, etc.). But here, they understand this is for BAFTA. So Arsema brings all of her political awareness and insightful thinking, Corey is serious and eloquent with analysing his character... It's beautiful how those actors, who are at the beginning of their careers, can gauge their attitudes based on the occasion with such maturity.
This is series was absolutely hauntingly beautiful in every aspect of it….the way the characters were embodied,the morals,the cosplay,the everything…..it was absolutely worth it 🥺🤍
I love how Corey is so inclusive with his response always including India. It really such an amazing show..how the complexities of this era, the wonderful acting they all portrayed…the costumes, the writing, the treatment the director … its simply mind blowing…i have rewatched this several times and did the ugly cry 😭😭😭 i cannot STOP watching. I hope there is another season…paging Shonda NETFLIX!!! 🙏🙏🙏

I loved Arsema's thoughtful comments about the wealth being built on the backs of slavery. I feel the same confliction - I love the world of balls, luxurious homes, beautiful gowns, lovely dances but then I'm remember thar people who looked like me were stolen and subjugated to build those spaces.
It's definitely a guilty pleasure and maybe one I'll never reconcile.
Queen Charlotte is my favorite character. Just so happy that they made a series for her. I've always wondered how she became Queen when I watched the first season of Bridgerton.
King George III was Queen Victoria's grandfather which makes the current King Charles III a direct relation. WOW!!!
THIS THEN BEGS THE QUESTION. WHY IS CHARLES AKA TAMPON SO RACIST AGAINT MEGHAN (Bi-racial,Black woman) When his ancestor was married to a black woman?????🙄😁😁
that's obvious... It happens pretty much in all the monarchies 😅😅 Their household changed name to Windsor just to sound more "british" instead of Germany (Charlotte was german and then Albert too) but the line is the same. A complete change happen in case monarchs have no heirs... Like Elizabeth I that with her decision ended the Tudor line
@Gaia Santangelo though technically James Stewart was son of Mary queen of Scots whose mother was sister to Henry 8th. So he was a Tudor.

Brimsley in Queen Charlotte is one of my favorite character. I can feel him, at first because of his duty to the queen, but later he did all the things because he care about her.
Absolutely amazing.... The pain, drama, lives of the royals.. the fight to sustain...and finally the power of love... Gripping storyline
I love Bridgerton, but Charlotte was so much deeper. Beautifully written, acted, and emotional. I'm still thinking about it weeks after watching.

Beautiful Queen Golda is Guyanese. Born to a guyanes father and sn English mum. She left Guyana when she was 5 years old🇬🇧🇬🇾

It's telling that the series that Shonda wrote herself that is not based on a book was so much better than the actual seasons of bridgerton which, while good, did not provide the depth that this series did.
Agreed. Bridgerton is about fairy tale happy endings and that kind of escapism is definitely necessary, but Queen Charlotte is different. It's so painfully beautiful ❤🔥

I liked this more than the main story of Bridergerton itself this had more depth and the characters were more nuanced and dynamic plus the morals and themes in it.
We would like to also see the king in the interviews, the one that has experienced his responsability and his inner world 👑

Six minutes in and I just realize Arsema is American.
She was born in America. Both her parents are African. She left the states as a young child and She lived overseas most of her life. She is African.

I enjoyed Queen Charlotte better than season two of Bridgeton. I have to admit parts of it I found rather boring and annoying especially The children of Queen Charlotte and King George.
