Field unit one, or the Privates was probably my favorite in a long time. I felt there was depth to the plot, the characters were curious, cute and likeable. I could have easily watched another hour of it. Well made success!
Totally agree. I could see a mini series made out of that group.
I liked The Privates so much that I looked it up separately to add it to a playlist and ended up watching it 3 times before remembering I still had other videos in this tab to watch!
OMG, that first film was intense and the last one was so sad!!! So many emotions in such a short period of time. The third film was an interesting take on what the future could be like. The people / writers that come up with the ideas for these short films are amazing / so talented. Respect.
A rollercoaster for sure
The last one, Telepathy, was brutal. Constant gaslighting from the telepaths telling non-telepaths they're doing them a favour by treating them like sub human scum with no rights.

I love The Privates!!! Its been a while since i've seen it on this channel but i love the Scott Pilgrim/Scooby Doo vibe of it and wish there was more of all of them!!!!
The actress that played the main character in Appyness was brillant, changing from one emotion to another. Well done.

What a Triple Play of gems! I was particularly moved by TELEPATHY. What a profound comparison to all child abuse. (and more) My tears are sweeter now, thank you. Just brilliant work done by all involved at every level.
If I was in the designer team of appy, my first suggestions would be: 1) a slider for intensity and 2) an emotion mixer Seriously needed
3) An Emergency stop to disconnect Appy
Wow movie # 3. Telepathy great acting . The dialog is amazing the slow reveal adds so much to it. Both use the term “ your kind “
And after that the dialog slowly shows them at different ends of a massive divide . 👍👍
That 1st part about the Appy user, must have been really demanding, but Danielle Roosa was very good.
Also the script was great, nice plot and dialogue. I give it 10/10.

To those who do not see and walk the golden path, you will be missed and sadly forgotten for history is cruel and will not remember the decay of a dying breed. In fact, it will act as if you never existed at all. You’re presence will only be known in Sophia.
Wonderful actress to cover that range of emotions in so short a time.
All three video's were individually excellent. Enjoyed viewing them all. Keep up the great productions.
3rd movie is touching but the concept behind isn't wrong. This is what we are doing to people with mental disabilities. It is not good for them to care for their own children. It is also hard for them to find jobs. The train of the society whizzing past and those unfitted were left behind. Sad but also correct. Only one thing is off in that story. It has nothing to do with minority-vs-majority. Even if 10% of population as human plus can already make the 90% useless. The community of the 10% takes over the torch of humanity and the rest 90% would just be the residue.
The story and the acting in Appy were superior. Thank you!

Telephathy needs to be a full series if it isn't already.
It’s happening all around us in real time. just look around, the marginalization of human beings is in full force. Discrimination, prejudice, violence is reality, it is not entertainment.
Most of these short films by Dust, if not all are alot better made than what you see on TV the acting is exelent and the story content is very well done too.
There is also a very close pretallection to reality, Something you don't see elseware! or very rareley.

they're not *by* Dust, they're by small filmmakers. Dust isn't bankrolling these or anything.
@GwenActually most of us do understand that Dust is just a ' collection ' site for these amazing artists shorts. The best part is that occasionally, we get to see well-known actors playing their part in these new creative works.

Dust has more episodes, but don't say they're better. Black Mirror still made some incredible stories, but to say Dust is better is disrespectful.

The Field Unit 1 group had incredibly, quirky, fascinating chemistry. Everything from the acting, the production, the writing impressed me. I hated to see the closing credits. One of my top 3 favorite Dust episodes.

That second one was just brilliant. Being a fellow musician I loved the concept so much and was wanting more explanation. The characters were perfect. I loved all of them.

"The Privates" is fun and cool and...
I do not get the choice of band name though, as The Privates were a Japanese Rock band from 80's and 90's. I guess the name was defunct.

Lexan Rosser did the most realistic prosthetic 3rd degree burn I've ever seen. In "Telepathy" the violin was both cheap and overbearing.

Last one was gut wrenching. Also a brutal reality, as society evolves if that what it means. Reality and God are always cold dark and brutal which no one can escape.
God is just as capable of love as he is cold, brutal justice. Anyone, including Lovecraft, who would tell you differently is lying for their own reasons.
