I would like to thank the People being the Person providing this Video, Fantastic Stuff, The Recovery Crews who are doing such a Great Job in probably very cool conditions unlike that we're getting in Australia at the moment. Tremendous Team Work by the Recovery Team's and I mentioned once already that I used to see a program in Australia about the Guys in Canada I think working the major highways and using massive Rotator Recovery Vehicles to Remove Crashed Semis on Snow filled day's, Great Team Work from them and I see the Very Same Here to clear the line as soon as possible, Thanks again for taking the time to provide such great Video feedback of this event.
Looks like 594’s? Hard to tell, the locomotive is Sooo huge it dwarfs them. For anyone who isn’t familiar, a Caterpillar 594 is a HUGE machine!! Cool video!
I love to watch 'em put the trucks back on the rail ! Ain't y'all glad the dogs were still hooked up. That would have been a shore-nuff mess, had they come loose! Thanks for posting.

Thank you! It was pretty warm this day too, around 90°f if I remember. These guys really know how to get these messes cleaned up in a hurry.
I live in North MS about 30 mins from where this happened and I remember that day. It was a very sad day.
These guys are good & really know what to do.
Thank you for taking the time to record and post this video, I always kinda wondered how this was done!!

Cool video!
mechanical 583s
Those machines is like watching dinosaurs eating.
This show was sweet but short. I still believe that Norfolk Southern is not a bad railroad as it may seem to have appeared in the news media.

The engineers don't wave from the trains anymore, not like they did back in 1954
Ran side booms on pipelines for years, never got to work on train crew though.
OMG That looked like nearly new underpants were needed at 7.34. These guys really have a tricky job with such a heavy engine and very soft ground.
wait why do i hear the bells?
3:53 RIP the grass.
Nice shots of flanges being placed where they belong...
Wow! Awesome!
👍👍👍👊😎
What was the cause of this derailment?
Blasted people in there car s and trucks do they know not to do that 😊
Wouldn't a forklift do the same job a lot quicker ? ! ?

You show us a forklift that'll pick 400,000 lbs and maybe we'll try that
