That's how all solos should be, I think a lot of metal is more generic than pop, blast beats constant shredding to show off and the same growling vocals. I am a metal head but most metal because of taht, the ones that I love stand out and experiment.

A lot of ppl don't know but Richard is actually the founder and leader of the band the fact that he doesn't make flashy and intricate solos is because Rammstein considers every member equally important, it explains how and why they've been together for about 30 years and is one of the most consistent bands ever with the same members since the foundation. There were many bands that had internal problems because the solo guitarist received too much attention and had a fucking huge ego.

And that's what I like of them because they used to have problems mainly in Mutter era because in their own words Richard was overworking everything, so they all having an opinion was really difficult and then they make it work and that's why they keep being together, because it doesn't matter if they all have a strong personality they make it work for the band, as they say, Rammstein is not Rammstein if one of them is missing

During the making of the Mutter album, the band almost broke up because Richard became too much a control freak and others started to hate him for that but eventually they got their problems solved.

Richard is not the leader of Rammstein. Rammstein is a Band with no leader. Neither Till or anyone in the Band is leading. Rammstein is kind of democratically run.

@@angiecastillo5355 there's a good reason for why that happened tho, in an interview on a German TV channel he talked about his trauma and self-doubts and how he felt like only if he was making something and creating something all the time without a break, he was worth something and performing live and putting out albums felt like a drug to him and especially since I can imagine this was the time before he went to therapy

Donaukinder has a great solo in it. Once again, simple, but really effective. It perfectly matches the song's tone and mood. Rammstein songs are generally quite simple overall, but perfectly executed. That can be such a hard thing to achieve, but as the saying goes: less is often more.

I’m so glad that you have Zosteron on your Too 5 list. It’s actually my all time favorite riff…How they managed to create the solo to sound like emergency vehicle sirens is excellent. I get so pumped when it comes on; like I could just tear down my whole house with my bare hands feeling. Yes, the Rammboys did their job with that one. You’re great for making this video.
