I currently have a Syma x5c-1 upgraded version. And in very ligh winds it seems to drift off, I find myself constantly having to fight it otherwise I will lose the drone. Is it faulty or am I doing something wrong. (This is the first drone I have ever flew).
That was very enjoyable and relaxing...thank you! My buddy and I are going to get one of these and have some fun. We are both retired and he flew RC planes many years ago and I currently fly a small RC helicopter. I think one of these would be a lot of fun for the money and something enjoyable for a couple of old codgers! Thanks for a nice video.
+Tinstar2 You won't be disappointed with one of these, tip though, buy extra batteries and multicharger, very rugged little drone but motors will give up eventually, £5 for 4 on ebay, happy flying
Did that very thing. Also got the case to carry it in. Got a black Syma with red and black blades! Cool looking coptor! Just got it yesterday. Love it!
Nice bit of flying.. I just got My X5C1 and haven't flown too far yet... I am not too far away from you in Leek... I may call up Tittesworth Reservoir and practice before going up to The Roaches for a bit of filming... Do you meet locally??
Hi, great video and music. Tks for sharing. Is the original remote controller, or have you extended signal with a MOD ? I´ve ordered mine today. Your video helped me to choose it, as I´m a beginner.
Hi Gerson. It is possible to easily extend the range as shown here: th-cam.com/video/EQbRnQsHLHA/w-d-xo.html however The Syma X5C-1 on this video is standard out of the box with the supplied stock 720p camera with no modifications to quad or remote.
Hello Xtratalk1. Nice Video. Can you please tell me what version is the PCB inside the Syma X5C-1. I know that X5C has V2 but I am having a small problem with the V3 as I can.t connect it to the remote for the V2. Thank you.
Hi Aaron, yes I think that is quite possible. The Syma X5C for a smaller quad can handle a fairly good payload with the prop guards and landing gear removed, I've had it flying with various objects before including a carrier bag, a metal sparkler and a key chain camera.
Hi Martin, yes this is the standard camera that comes with the Syma X5C and X5C-1. It's 720p and only a small thing with a HD slot for micro HD card and it's pretty good really for the price.
Niekiej101 X5C-1 is better: You can buy this drone on LivingSocial.com too, here below: www.livingsocial.com/products/us/tag/electronics/132198-syma-drone-with-hd-camera-led-lights
This video was shot with The Syma X5C-1. If you don't believe it then that is your problem I do not lie as I take this hobby and my viewers seriously. You can see other videos I've done that are similar where you can see the syma reflected in the camera view so check those out for confirmation. This was actually a windy day too.
Leonardo Silva Hello Leonardo. Sorry if I sounded harsh and thank you for the reply. Yes the wind is a problem, the X5C-1 does seem to handle better than it's earlier models. The camera on this video is the standard 720p cam that came with the syma x5c-1. best regards :)
+Christopher Norris if its new, it takes at least 5 videos to establish the correct video quality, I also realised this and quickly found a solution! also it helps if you have very good lighting!
Be very careful I just lost one going across a pond at a high altitude. Sudden wind took it and I was unable to gain control. Oh well $60 bucks down the pond. I got another one on the way though. Best quad for the price.
***** Sorry to hear that waveali. Your not alone though, we lost one in high winds in the early days never to be seen again. We've not had any losses since though. Happy flying mate :)
Hi Michael. Yes very tempted to cross the water but the battery wasn't full and the wind was pretty high so played it safe. We will be returning to Goyt Valley with The Phantom though to get some better footage and this time we will cross the water and get some footage of the boats :)
Wow such a stunning video an great flying.
I might use the dam busters theme for my first flight.
very nice video. thanks for sharing. love my x5c-1 it is so graceful and precise
Thanks mate and yeah it's a lovely quadcopter :)

Great video and to top it all off I got to listen to 1812 Overture while watching! Excellent song choice!
Many thanks Jacob :)
xtratalk1 is it the normal camera? it comes with a standard 2MB HD camera, right?
udokfbdopdbsp Yes it is the original Syma X5C camera
thanks for the reply, the 2MB or the other one?
udokfbdopdbsp The standard 720p cam that comes with all X5C & X5C1 models ;)
I should add though that the quad itself is brilliant!
Your Syma sounds soo much nicer than mine, haha, great video, thank you for uploading.
I have this thing and it's really awesome:)
Very nice footage! How windy was it? The first clip seemed less shaky. Was it early in the morning?
your video quality is much better than my X5c
Nice, and so refreshing to hear a classical piece of music on a video on YT, as opposed to some of the rubbish posted.
I found it hard my first flight with camera , I see you have a dji phantom lol that's my wish listed with the kids lol HAPPY QUADING ;)

I'm getting this for my birthday on Friday can't wait by the wat nice flying
Thanks amareo and you will love this it's a great quad :)
How longs the battery
amareo morrison
It varies, from the standard batteries I get around 6 - 8 minutes fly time.
I got it when I flyer it first I lost it cause in couldn't in control it but now I can
Nice flying!
Thanx RCvolo :)
Muito legal... show de filmagem.

xtratalk1 OK, thanks for your answer and comments.
I hope you experience every time, good shots with xc5, and show us here in TH-cam community.
Gerson Standke Many thanks Gerson :)
Did you replace the stock camera with the 808 keychain camera?
Hello Xtratalk1. Nice Video.

I know that X5C has V2 but I am having a small problem with the V3 as I can.t connect it to the remote for the V2.

Hi Costel. I'll have a look when I open it to do the antenna mod shortly :)
If you took the camera off the battery door and lengthened the cable, do you think it would be possible to put the camera on a lightweight gimbal?
Hi Aaron, yes I think that is quite possible. The Syma X5C for a smaller quad can handle a fairly good payload with the prop guards and landing gear removed, I've had it flying with various objects before including a carrier bag, a metal sparkler and a key chain camera.
xtratalk1 Thanks :D
I cant believe that this is realy the camera of the drone you mean the quality is too good sodo youlie or is this the real cam of the 60 € drone???
Hi Martin, yes this is the standard camera that comes with the Syma X5C and X5C-1. It's 720p and only a small thing with a HD slot for micro HD card and it's pretty good really for the price.
standard battery and antenna ??
Which camera is better? Syma x5c, syma x5c-1, jjrc h5c or h8c?

www.livingsocial.com/products/us/tag/electronics/132198-syma-drone-with-hd-camera-led-lights
Das soll die original Camera sein? unter 10000 tausend die beste rausgesucht?
Yes it is the original camera
Não acredito que esse video foi feito com o Syma X5c, tenho um a imagem nao fica boa assim mesmo, vibra muito e a câmera só filma 720.

My syma x5c-1 2mp camera gives a very grainy picture as if it's filming from the mid 90's. It's usable but nothing is TH-cam worthy,
+Christopher Norris if its new, it takes at least 5 videos to establish the correct video quality, I also realised this and quickly found a solution! also it helps if you have very good lighting!
I GOT 8 SYMA DRONES ... #1 DRONES
very tempted to cross the water not far
Be very careful I just lost one going across a pond at a high altitude. Sudden wind took it and I was unable to gain control. Oh well $60 bucks down the pond. I got another one on the way though. Best quad for the price.
