hahaha was just rebuilding my computer room and turned off my power points to move everything... turned it all back on and then couldnt get my hue bridge to connect (completely forgetting i had wifi off because modem was unplugged).... searched for 20mins before i found this video....THANKS BROTHER!!!! LEGEND fixed it in 2 seconds hahahaha

I have primary wifi and secondary one for security cameras which need to run on 2.4ghz. Took me 30 minutes to realize I need to be on the primary 5ghz connection. This helped! Thanks

Had an wifi outage at hone yesterday so I had turned the wifi off on my phone, Arrived at the studio today and Hue would not detect... Thanks for the reminding me. User error!
The bridge is connected to my router via Ethernet and the last light is always blinking or not on at all. I reset the bridge unplugged and reset everything even the router and still not getting 3 solid lights on the bridge. Wifi is on aswell. Anybody know what’s wrong?

Then i seen something that started talking about the wifi connection and my face immediately fell in to my palm before i even checked the wifi because I knew then that I had not even turned mine on. 😂

@@justnii2056 you’re welcome. yeah, they do have some lights that don’t require the bridge. However, a large selection of there lighting do. I found out the hard way too. The colored lights that you see in some of my videos that light up behind the bed... bought them before I realized they needed a bridge. 👎
My philips hue account can't detect my bridge in order to connect with google home(google nest mini), while in the hue apps it is detecded. Any advice please?
Hmm. Haven’t seen this one yet. Try unlinking your bridge and then go through the process again from the beginning. Make sure your bridge, and other google devices are all connected to the same WiFi network.
I don't know why, but when I connect the bridge to the socket, my blue circle doesn't light up and that's probably why it can't be connected to the phone I don’t know what to do
Is your bridge a Gen 1 or Gen 2. Not certain but I believe they discontinued support for the Gen 1 models. Meaning you will likely need to upgrade to a Gen 2 if you’re using the older version.
Since my pc updated it no longer connects to the Phillip's hue app I get a error message that says an unexpected error has occurred please contact support but nothing is available in terms of support
This doesn’t help me. My app won’t connect to my bridge. The only thing that works is resetting the bridge and app all together and this seems to be a weekly occurrence. Idk how to permanently fix this issue. Support hasn’t helped at all.

You should add that if you are having connection issues to first turn off your VPN if you have one then try again.

The bridge itself has to be connected via Ethernet cable. Then it provides the needed wireless connection for your wireless philips products.
