The reason the Formula started flinging around is because they have extreme downforce, and with no ground to stand on, it pushed the back down, flinging the car around. Fun fact, some Formula cars, if going fast enough, can actually drive upside down! From how much downforce they have, it push’s the car into the upside down floor.
