As a DPS main with a healing spec, just respec to healer if they ask, EAGERLY even. Then proceed to be absolute dogshit at it. Make sure they never ask you to heal ever again.
By week 3 ST my guild was funneling our enh shammy with healing gear (he wouldn’t even roll) just for the laughs from us and him over discord that we might need a respec to resto😂
as a demon hunter main I can confirm that jumping off platforms to see if you can fly back onto them is way more fun than anything blizzard ever intend you to do in the game.
Regardless of how poorly the Demon Hunter did OP was passive aggressive as hell and even from her side of the story sounded like she was frustrated to the point of hoping she could set someone off and then bait him to go as far as possible not with the meme, but the response to his anger. Baiting someone, who by her own admission doesn't speak at all, into getting mad when you see it's a touchy subject and then expecting him to get kicked for one single infraction of shaming for parses in MYTHIC seems a little unreasonable.
maybe i see it abit too serious, but to me it feels the author is the biggest hypocrite. She wanted to be in an inclusive guild, not getting insults, harassment etc. and how she wrote the story, feels shes the first one so entitled, insulting everyone else, calling everyone brainless and shitters, but hey, its all just joking right? ^^ When she gets some backlash after ppl dont find her "jokes" of brainless, stupid players funny, shes like "Kick them! We r inclusive!" ...
The author is definitely guilty, definitely passive aggressive, but a guild that doesn't allow open criticism while fostering players who keep making progress take a lot longer are basicaly boiling pots. This kind of shit is bound to happen. If people were making these "jokes," the raid leader should be able to read the sign that there is frustration with the demon hunters dying all the time. If there was a guiltiness meter, it'd probably have Demon Hunters at 3, the author at 2 and the guild leadership at 1 in terms of guiltiness.
Totally asked as a shaman to go heals to "help". I have done it for 2 raids but said if by the 3rd they don't have someone then someone else will have to change and I would make it super public. Needless to say yes, we had a rotation of alt healers and guild paid for respects. Which was nice.
Started as a preservation evoker asked to switch to aug evoker for Admirdassil. Hated Aug evoker after AOTC back to preservation evoker hoped to never go back to aug ever again.
If the DHs were consistently topping the damage meters for their guild than why is it that they had grey parses on the kills? Wouldn’t that only happen if the OP Aug did exceptionally bad when they were tasked with buffing the DPS that were topping the charts?
Generally, buffing a player that ends up dying usually tanks the parse either way, so if one or more of the Demon Hunters died during most pulls, then buffing them would always lead to terrible parses on the Aug Evoker's side.
@@SunniestAutumn but she said in the story that they only ended up getting the kills when everyone lived. They even implied to the DH that their best parses were the ones that the DH died on.
So, this person continuesly throws offhanded passive aggressive comments at the DH, then gets offended when one of them gets enough and call her out. Gets even more offended that the leadership rightfully calls that they were both out of line. And now she is the victim? No my friend, that is not how it works, you can't only evoke guild rules when it suits you. So guilty.

I remember playing DH in Sanctum, just cheating on the spikes during Painsmith, just jumping and gliding around the spikes instead of running between the gaps. Good times
I mean a lot of times it's not even abusive or malicious on a raid leaders part. If you have someone you know that's going to do the thing you need to get the raid happening, it is really kind of your job to go to that person and say hey. It translates into the workforce the same way. I guess the moral of the story is if you don't want to be that person don't be. You're going to keep getting relied on to fill the gap whenever it pops up.

As a Demon Hunter main, it's always funny when someone wants to shit on Demon Hunters and call Havoc a 3 button spec. They want to call the spec dumb, but they haven't even bothered to look at the spec since Dragonflight came out. Because the spec got some updates, and it's definitely not melee BM hunter anymore. Even the easier build that Havoc has access to is more complex than it was in Shadowlands and beyond.
It's still extremely simple, people are tired of how meta they are for how much effort you need to pull it off, their damage profile is just unfair compared to most other dps specs
@@Vindicator1998 No, it is not extremely simple. Havoc has more going on than many dps specs. Hell, the entire reason why it's so easy for a Demon Hunter to die in a raid because of how hard it is to always be dashing around while avoiding mechanics to actually maximize your dps. No other spec even has to do that to do competitive numbers. Also if they were dying so often that it was a meme than why would the raid leader even make you buff them?
English is not my first language but what is wrong with the word "female"? Is it too clinical or has the word become problematic in the last few years for some reason?

More for the open use of slurs in general chat than parse shaming.
