- Stuart Hughes of Samsula, Florida owns a smoked mullet shack and has been selling his infamous smoked mullet and mullet dip for over ten years. A family tradition he learned from his Father, that he hopes to pass on for generations to come.

Back in the late 50s, I had my first Smoked Mullet, Goodland's Fla.
Capt Stevens had a old refrigerator, red button wood, and his family sauce on the fish to smoke it. Yours is the Best, I have had ever since those days. Born in West Miami, grew up with smoked Mullet. Thanks to you and your family, we can still have the Best of Old Florida. See you in a week or two. Your the Best out there, and we thank you.

How do I find you mate? I have looked on Google but no luck. I found a Stuart's Smoke Shack in New Smyrna Beach but the guy looks nothing like you. Is it one and the same? I really would like to locate you. The mullet have started their run in the St. Johns River yesterday. Brought in a good many for the first day of the season. The season started really early this year!
