Great video - I seem to be the only person who uses the studio one chord track the way I think it should work. Drag the chords from your Chord track to the UJAM track and viola - it plays all of the chord tones in a melodic way - Sometimes you have to transpose up or down to hit the C3 to C5 range. If you want fills/intros/whatever you can either draw in key switches on the piano roll (brilliant that these are laid out for us in S1) OR you can drag and drop the MIDI from the instrument onto the chord you want to have a fill on. Seriously - it's just so ingenious! Oh - and there is a "stop" key switch which will turn the instrument off. Thanks again for sharing (yes - I realise this video is old - but I just bought it on sale having already purchased Royal and Mellow. Only $29!)

I agree! Even if you don’t use it for the player mode the sound design capabilities are super cool.

I just bought Dandy yesterday --- it's on sale this week, so what the heck --- but was really puzzled at how to get the best from it. This helps tremendously, thanks very much!

Can you not drag the patterns of midi from the interface keys where the control patterns are up top?

Ivan what if you are playing chords you may not know what particular key you are playing in and you want it to follow those chords?
