- The Supa Supa no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that enables the user's body to gain characteristics of a steel blade to attack opponents with, making the user a Fullbody Bladed Human (全身刃物人間 Zenshin Hamono Ningen). It was eaten by Daz Bonez, also known by his Baroque Works alias Mr. 1. The fruit's powers were first seen being used by Daz to slice a wall he was about to hit, after he was kicked by Mr. 2. The fruit's powers were fully revealed when Daz and Zoro began to battle.
The major strength of the fruit, as demonstrated by Daz, is that its user can create strong blades from any part of their body. The ability allows the user's body to gain characteristics of steel, more specifically a blade. The user is immune to normal slashing attacks and can cut through almost anything.
Some devil fruits are just so OP in circumstances or against certain opponents that Haki was needed
But since the beginning of series starting with Zoro, it was heavily implied that someone can be as strong as fruit users with no fruit
Than Haki sealed the deal
Not even just the power to bypass some haxed defenses of paramecias and logia’s but being able to defend against them
Kaido said it much later but it was always implied: Haki is what determines who can be the strongest
That doesn’t mean devil fruits aren’t a factor too for the strongest people (admirals) but Haki rules all
Doesn't haki get translated poorly and it really means ambition or was that a theory video lol

shanks and mihawk obviously are better haki users than kaido but kaido is still stronger, yes haki > all but kaido is kaido!

Mr1. can become final boss for Zoro if he learn haki and turn into "black blade".
Imagine if somebody managed to hone their skills to such a degree with this fruit that their entire body became a black blade

He would be one-shotted by Rust fruit user.
Seems he can only get stronger with haki to survive in the grand line. If he awakens it could make him relevant against some DF users, but still not many.
Imagine this guy with insane haki like Garp and Conqueror Haki like Shanks. My man would be a match up agaisnt Mihawk

Just some thoughts.Zoro was definitely the first Straw Hat that used Haki here.Without even a supreme gradesword it pretty much doesn't make sense for him to just not be able to hurt Mr.1 and in the end cut him with a vital wound.Either that or Zoro grew to cut steel indeed somwhow with the Shisui Sonson which is one of his most devestating attacks using only one of his swords.Pica's fight was definitely an easier fight for Zoro and Pica knew Haki too.Even if Doflamingo had a bigger crew than Crocodile , considering that Mr.1 could someday awaken Haki , he would pretty much beat most of Doflamingo's crewmates considering his Devil Fruit powers were a much bigger trouble for Zoro than Pica's powers.
Or there is another power system other than DF and Haki.

also races like fishmen with some of them knowing fishman karate
lunarians, bucaneers, giants meaning we have more depth in the power system, these all boost either AP, physical stats, survivability etc

The notion that Haki would give Daz Bones a hyper power-up is wrong. A person can't use Haki and DF simultaneously, and having blades for arms doesn't count as a sword that can be cloaked with armament. Warrior skilled enough and fast enough would find an opening between changing abilities and puff. There are exceptions like Luffy Gear 4 (which he unlocked after training) and Katakuri.

If he had haki
but he wouldn't be able to use both at the same time. you can envelop a sword into your haki, but not your body which can trasofmr into a blade. Katakuri or Luffy are exceptions, but they trained to achieve their gears.

@@edgargaebolg9307 I'm assuming that the fruit hardens the body and that tougher people get better results than Daz Bones. It shouldn't make a tougher individual weaker if they ate it. Kinda like how a human eating the hito hito no mi would become superhuman instead of being able to transform from human to also human.

Daz Bones body is hard as steel but he got one shot by Mihawk.
