FIRST OFF - thank you to @Zagrash for giving you details and telling you what to pay attention to, without giving spoilers. I understand this show very well and wouldn't even be able to do it on that level. Thank you 🙏 Normally I get annoyed if reactors dissect things too much and make a ton of incorrect predictions that don't make sense, but you do so well. Your predictions are always sensical and based off what you've seen so far, and it feels like you truly understand the intent of this show. You even catch things I've missed while watching the show plus like 20 different reaction channels XD. I truly don't understand how you have so few subscribers. Just from the 2 videos I've seen from you (this video and the first episode), I can see your investment in quality. Even though you have to cut out parts of the show for copyright, all the moments you keep in are the ones I want to see your reaction to. I've only seen 2 other reactors dissect this show so well, one dissected the emotions and empathized, and the other is a German guy who was able to catch the details you did as well. Some reactors I've seen don't even pay attention and as a result don't appreciate the GENIUS writing in this show. I subscribed just now and am looking forward to your next reactions. Thank you! 🙏
🙏 thank you so very much for your kind words. Comments like this truely inspire me to keep pushing. It means the world, and yes Zagrash is a true legend. I look forward to his insights every upload. Thank you for your support ! I hope you enjoy the next one. 🙏
The 2nd bottle poured on the grave is the one which Heiter had when he met Fern. Since that day he stopped drinking. She show is full with a lot of small details which are either relevant in next episodes or just make the journey more colorful.
Another great reaction! You picked up on a lot of stuff 🤩 This episode is really amazing and has so many details in it. Here is some of them: Frieren is often mirrored with Himmel, "the sky," and this episode nailed that symbolism. When Heiter fell, the downpour wasn’t just rain, but Himmel (sky) was crying. In the flashback, as Heiter shares the story of his lost friend with Fern, the sky is a perfect clear blue, reflecting Himmel's presence. And when Frieren finds the Blue Moon Weed, she’s framed against a stunning afterglow sky. Himmel’s there, happy and with her. Another great detail is alcohol (symbol for Heiter = jolly). The first bottle Frieren poured out on Heiter's headstone was the bottle she brought, the second was the bottle Heiter was holding when he stopped Fern from jumping. The moment he quit drinking. I also love the short timeskip scene early in the episode where "Frieren is freezing" by the fire. In German, you’d say "Frieren ist am frieren" (cuz her name means freezing), but it is also a reference about her character (being cold and distant sometimes). When they analyze the enviroment to find the flowers for Himmel and Frieren talks about why she is doing this, you can see the old turtle (slow, long livespan), while the animal used for Fern were the seedrats (short livespan, stupid because they forget where they put the seeds that will then eventually grow). In the end, the stupid seedrats (humans) helped them to find the flowers. Frieren is in touch with the nature surrounding her, but not with people. For her, human lives are like seedrats, while she is the old turtle. This is very funny because Frieren says she didn't know anything about her friends, but she knew those flowers were Himmel's favorite from his hometown. Because he told her that She paid a lot more attention to them than she realizes. That's why she says "I'm probably doing this for myself", while looking at the leaf, that grows from seeds and turtles eat. Frieren telling Fern they are the same, because they like magic not entirely due of itself, but also an external reason: Fern wanted to be able to take care of herself after Heiter passed away, and Frieren collects spells because Himmel complimented hers. The blue flower has vanished and not been seen for decades. Who died decades ago and loved those flowers? Thats why Frieren had to bring them back. There is so much more to tell about this episode, but I gonna shut up now, don't want to spoil😛 Keep it up Nac!
i was hooked on the show at the first episode, but for me, episode 2 is where i truly believed and knew that this would undoubtedly end up being one of my favorite series, and an incredible experience beyond what i ever expected going in the moment with heiter in the bed, and frieren and him talking about fern is one of my most cherished moments across all of the media i have ever consumed, i'm getting chills just writing about it now. it hit me on so many levels, and outside of the genius character writing, the intensity of that moment showed that the author and all of the people involved in the anime adaptation really understood the assignment and exhibited a degree of emotional depth that is hard to capture, in any form. pair that with the stunning music and sound, and the immaculate art and animation, and you have all the makings of a 10/10 character interaction. i say this all the time, but i am really so glad that you are enjoying it, and giving it the praise and attention that it most definitely deserves. congrats on 3 great months, all of your hard work and dedication is paying off, and your success is well deserved nac, keep on killin it!
Thank you, I really enjoy seeing what other people connected to in these series and yes I am truly in love with the show it’s been honestly eye opening on a few things and I’m only a couple episodes in. I’m so happy to have someone like you in my corner brother. Not just to share the highs and the beautiful moments like that one, but because your insight and personal perspective on this and other shows are amazing and so well thought out. Seriously appreciate it my friend 🙏
Thank you 🙏 its always a balancing game, I try not to pause to much because it breaks the flow. But then when I want to talk I don’t want to speak over the show 😂😂. Thank you for the comment
Are you as madly in love with it as I am ? I just finished recording episode 3 last night it drops on Wednesday. I cried for the first time watching an anime since I seen the “ship scene” no spoilers please*** from one piece. It’s incredibly well done and the messaging hits so hard, I’m happy people are recognizing the beauty of it
@@Nac_Reacts I am. But I already watched the whole 1st season. And I do love it, the development, the characters. They can make a character who is beautiful not because of body but of their soul, and rest of the cast aswell.
