Ernest Hemingway had such a poetic voice even in his novels. I can see he'd have taken a lot of inspiration from there, as he did everywhere he went. I think Cuba still had a lively culture at that time. Thanks for the tour. 😀👋

Good video . I have been to this resort twice and enjoyed it . The beach is really nice and the pier is a great attraction. Lots of fish to see under the pier .

I thought your voice was familiar. You do fast-food videos AND Cuban resort videos?! Good stuff.
i was unable to ascertain whether this beach footage was on a red flag/yellow flag or green flag day. The resort i prefer is still off limits, but there it's all according to wind direction. Southwest wind means red flag and nobody snorkels. Northerly breeze makes the ocean calm right down and suddenly it's green flag. Also a close examination of the premium hooch at the bar would be appreciated. I do like to sip at a snifter of Hennessy XO on my birthday, but not all hotels have it.

I went through Hurricane Irma in SWFL. Palm trees seem to withstand hurricanes, but other types of trees don't fair as well. We had lots of trees come down in my neighborhood, but not a single palm tree. Looks like a nice resort!
Stayed there in Jan 2020 Just before Covid hit. Was pretty disappointed. Food was not very great, very cheap alcohol, hot water problems, AC problems. Restaurant by the beach was pretty good for lunch. Lots of cats to feed outside the buffet. I thought the pier was the best feature of the resort.

Gorgeous place. I seem to remember that the hurricane hit Cuba after your last visit there. You were still posting Cuba videos and I was worried because of what I'd seen on the news, but you were safely back in Canada by then. You missed it all by a day or two.

March-April 2019 vacation,resort had no water problems,food poisening,no a.c,no toilet paper,lack of drinks,ect,ect,the list goes on.Vacation from hell,had to check out and go elsewhere after 5 days of 10.Would avoid this place at all costs.Karl,manager and his gong show is bad example of Melia Hotels don't seem to care this dump was allowed to stay open with ongoing problems.
You visited another hotel that was a few hundred $ more per person, would you pay more or do you prefer this hotel?

Yes it did have a disco when I was there,
It's the door right across from the stage where they have the evening show.
