The tool you couldn't identify is called a hemostat. Designed as a surgical clamp but used in crafts to grasp small items instead of using our sausage fingers.

That bunny is adorable, how lucky to get a matching pet :D Would have loved to see a rerooting for it (the cat ones colour went well with the new design), but since it was so small, I get that it's not easy - it's pretty cool that you got that package at the end though, allows you another attempt! Really like to follow your journey of customising, sure it will get easier and easier for you when you improve with practise :)
Zip looks like an alpaca to me. Fluffy neck, pointy ears, full tail. The little rug over their back really gives it away
I think the thing that looks like a dragon.... is really just a purple alpaca or llama. A dragon woulda been AWESOME THOO. They should add a dragon

All of the custom’s you’ve made lately are so cute! If you’re ever looking for a more articulated doll base- I highly recommend the cave club dolls! I’ve used one for customization before (their’s a video on my channel) and they’re super cute, on the cheap side, and I feel like they’d fit your art style perfectly! (they also come with cute creature pets to customize too)

The scissory-looking things are hemostats. They're great for removing hair from inside a doll's head or rerooting (pulling needles thru) since they lock.

Actually, I believe those "Pictures" are just snapshot stickers of the different characters. Since Nova loves to take pictures of her friends and post them on her social media account, it makes sense. Also, Toya of MyFroggyStuff did doll reviews on them and she would make doll rooms using the packaging of different doll sets to make different doll rooms. Maybe you could make your own fantasy themed doll room for said dolls, like a Spyro the Dragon theme?
We all know you helped Dollightful with naming the Khepri the Light Dragon doll!
Also, Zip's a Llama. ^^ We've been having a boom on items with animals lately, like sloths, narwhals, llamas, even the Axolotols mob in the upcoming MineCraft Caves and Cliffs update!
Trust me, they're cute in game form and the real life versions are adorable as well, speaking from someone who works volunteer at the local aquarium!

ANYWAYS, my reply regardless lol) I would be all aboard to agree with you....if it didn't literally have zebra stripes. =P (I am guessing, Hairdorables didn't give the character the traditional zebra tail, because then that's a lot less hair they could have put on the character....and the nerd in me apparently found a wiki page also that lists her as "Sahara is Rayne's pet zebra." Which also lists Zip as "Zip is Kali's pet llama. ")

I think Zip is an alpaca. It's a fluffier, nicer llama-type creature.
The pets are small to be a realistic size compared to the doll like how a cat is smaller than you in real life, it also allows the doll to “hold” them

Jackie, I say you definitely improved both of them. My favorite is Picaso Cat. That package you received is totally awesome. The curved one you showed first is a curved hemostat. They have great grip and you can lock them in place. The tools in the larger zippered pouch are the same ones I use for making jewelry. Jackie - The scissor-looking things that Doll Planet sent you is a hemostat. They were originally created for the medical field, but come in very handy for crafting with small items. Especially when you have "sausage-fingers" like us. 😊
I think you should’ve colored the fluffy collar part to match one of the colors used. Like, the bunny, could’ve painted the fluff part maybe green or add an apron!! And for the cat, you could’ve painted the fluffy part one of the blues or even black to make it look like one piece with the wings!!

As someone who once made a very tiny fully functional chicken coop for tiny itty bitty chicken figurines that were literally smaller than a penny, your struggle with something of this size is GREATLY amusing to me. xD
Also those "scissors" are clamps! You can use them a bit like tweezers, but they lock closed so you can leave them clipped onto something to keep it out of the way- they're used in surgery a lot, actually, to clamp off arteries and blood vessels to stop bleeding.
I don't know which one I prefer! I adore the colors of the first one, but the theme of the second was 👌👌👌

When in need to more mini elastics loom bands are easy to get hold of, have huge range of colour more matching or contrasting hair and work just the same as mini hair ties 😊

Definitely loved the cat and I think that this cat-butterfly hybrid came out very well and made it more of an intricate design! I think the bunnys horns overall couldve benefitted from some flowers (even maybe some tiny plastic fake-flowers?), but all in all its pretty too. Really glad to see you smoothing out the edges too, good work!
The horned rabbit reminds me of not just a jackalope but also a wolpertinger (I guess horned bunnies are a trope across cultures 😆)

These are both too cute. I think the cat is my favourite though. The first thing I thought of when opened was "ooooh black would look good with that hair" so I'm thrilled black was used 😀.
