Director knows well and that's why all the other actors did fabulous job since no biased instructions were there. Only alam did a bad job because director can give a role to his niece but that won't make her a good actor and he won't do anything about it thanks to nepotism

She did justice to her role, the role required her to be sober introvert educated into poetry although born in kotha like normal girl fallen in love etc. First for haters they found excuses she is niece of Bansali also she married to billionaire
The way i didn't even knew that she was a nepo until watching these interviews but already hated her acting mid series. It's so easy to make up bs for someone else's incompetency and bad acting skills. Introvert ppl like me shows emotions at least while being alone or with ppl I am comfortable with.
