Raleigh NC has many great builders and there is no way we can fit all our favorite new construction builders in one video, so please call, text, or email us and we will help you find a great builder that fits your needs. Again, there are many many more builders we highly recommend that are not featured in this video. Moving into a DR Horton single family new build in their Anderson Farm development at the end of the year. Glad to see they made the list!
I will be moving to Anderson Farm as well on Dorado Road (Penwell Model). I close on December 7, 2023.

I don't know how's DR Horton doing in NC, but in Texas it was blacklisted builder. Horrible quality, mold, push backs on warranty and so on.
Great list. Where's MI Homes? Did I buy from wrong builder?
They're not bad, just not on our favorites list
DR Horton seems to be a good builder but I have a bone to pick with them regarding their homes in Wilmington.
DR Horton is blacklisted in Texas.

We own an all brick ranch house with a full basement built in the 50's. I guarantee you that these new houses are not as well built. It is like a fortress built with quality material.
There are a lot of poorly constructed new construction homes, but also plenty of good builders building quality homes.
If anyone wants a TRUE HOME build you can have our home. We've had many issues. Our floors are squeaky, to this date there is still paint on our floors that they carelessly ignored, it takes WEEKS for Warranty to email you back about simple but important/safety questions, there's lot of wasted space with their floor plans and there's no closets for linen, etc.. I could go on and on. We plan on selling after we get a little bit of equity.
Thoughts on MeritageHomes?
They're a national builder. I have a friend who used to work for them. They're probably similar to Pulte, KB Home, Ryan Homes, etc. I don't have any personal experience with them.
I’ve walked through their homes in the Triangle market and was not impressed. There are much better options out there in that price point. Just go around to some of the neighborhoods where these other builders build homes…. Walk through what they are building. You will immediately see the significant difference in quality of construction and materials used.
National builder and most of our clients that have looked at their homes didn't go with them
How about Envision homes?
Haven't seen many of their homes in the area
Glad to see my builder wasn’t on your list, they brag they are top notch, but aren’t. Cut corners everywhere

How about Pulte Homes ?

L and L must have bribed you to make this list because there’s no way they should be on here. Their fit and finish doesn’t align with them building 1M+ homes. Their homes in Chandler Cove don’t compare to ICG’s.
You said never go with an agent, our agent in hindsight: stood there and looked pretty. I do not think she actually was there, engaged and try to help
Not sure if you understood what we said. We said if you go to the builders agent, that agent will never represent your best interest and they are going to protect the builders best interest. By having your own agent, you have someone to protect your best interests. Our team stays very engaged throughout the process from start to finish. Sorry your agent didn’t do that! Clarification: We had our own agent who did not do much. She stood there most of the time and was paid $30K.
