Pretty sick how they loved Cheryl like family, and she just kills these nice old people for greed. You never know what evil lies behind a kindly face.

Joe & Mattie's murder definitely one of the most brutal cases alongside the ATV murders & the Wendy Camp family murders.

The murders of Joe and Mattie and the ATV murders all happened in the same state, as well as the murder of Kevin Hughes.

On November 11, 1997, Nebraska State Police stopped a car for speeding. The driver appeared extremely nervous and handed police a fake driver's license. A police dog began barking wildly at a suitcase in the back seat. The officers opened the bag and found $1.8 million. The driver turned out to be William Arthur Kirkpatrick--one of two men the FBI had dubbed "The Trenchcoat Robbers".
With the help of Kirkpatrick's girlfriend, the FBI was able to identify and locate the second man, Raymond Lewis Bowman. Bowman is currently serving twenty-four years in prison. Kirkpatrick pleaded guilty and was sentenced to fifteen years in prison. He has since been released.

That's really strange, I had never heard that before. I wonder why he ended up pleading guilty to two counts of first degree murder.

Okay, Barney’s story...anyone else notice the glaring omission by everyone in the narrative?! Ahhh...KIDNAPPING!?!? Good ole Rev Nichols was a man stealer and his adoptive son, the good pharmacist, was his coconspirator!!! Glad apps well that ends well for these two, but either Mama was a liar or the reverend, whose orphanage was shut down by the state (!!), should’ve died in prison or rode the lightening!

Age has not been kind to Cheryl Holland in the last 31 years. Still sitting in the can though.

She wasn’t much to look at when she was young. I can only imagine what she looks like now.

Saw her on the prison inmate site, prison life must be hard. I was surprised at how young she is, she's not even 60.

The bank robber segment: At 6:30 he's on the phone with the police, then claims it's the store across the street once he hangs up...🤔

He wasn’t gunna tell the bank robbers he was talking to the cops. Lol. He lied to them, so he could escape.

They left $150,000 in cash in their home? That's a good amount for the 90s. Also, not smart, what if the house burns down, or something happens? My grandfather didn't even do that. He died at 74 in 97. He had about $100,000 I the bank and maybe around 10,000 hidden in drawers, chickens (yes), etc in his home.

Hold up, your grandfather hid money.....in chickens?, like they were eggs or something?
