Tom Holland REVEALS He & Zendaya Re-Watch First ‘Spider-Man’ (Exclusive)

- Tom Holland was flying solo without GF Zendaya at the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards, where she spoke to “Extra’s” Melvin Robert. When asked if he goes back and watches his work, Tom confessed that he and Zendaya have watched their first “Spider-Man” movie to reminisce together. He also said she watched his series “The Crowded Room” during the editing process.

Tom Holland is more mature now, when he was 1st playing spider man he was kinda of everyone little buddy. Now I feel the industry/fame is kinda something he dosent like too much
Timothee' Chalamet had it right when he said that Tom & Zendaya are Good Hollywood. I hope they remain so and that negative "outside forces" there don't try to corrupt them. They were each raised by good, strong parents and have beloved siblings and other relatives and friends so I think they'll be alright and not succumb to any unwholesome influences.
The Crowded Room was great! Incredible performance, writing and overall cast.

It's the California sun. I know some English people. They come here with Beautiful skin. But if they're not careful (sunscreen, hats, great moisturizers), their skin dries out quicker. England is an island that gets lots of rain. Southern California? Not so much. And Tom used to drink (thankfully, not any more). That's Terrible for skin. And can actually start to "pickle" it.

I think he was joking. Tobey is good in his films. Very good. But Tom is GREAT in his films. All of them. Tom deservedly won a BAFA for THE IMPOSSIBLE. When he was just a mere Child! And in the Spider Man films, Tom, like Peter Parker himself, was a Real Teenager while 1st playing the character. His authentically youthful energy is palpable. Tom is also a trained Gymnast! Tom was/is Perfect for Spider Man/Peter Parker. Stan Lee, the creator of Spider Man, said so, too.

I agree with Tom I wouldn’t watch all of my movies often because I don’t wanna cling on to all moments that are precious and beautiful. I would watch them a little bit but not all the time. I need to move on and grow as an actor. Occasional watch.
I also enjoy rewatching the first Spider-Man movie. Sam Raimi and Toby Maguire really knocked it out of the park with that one.

Tom Holland is the best Spiderman on and off screen. The work he did in the hospitals with kids, the way he represents the role and his chemistry with Zendaya in the film. Tobey and Kirsten did good but Tom and Zendaya are the best. They also do a lot of their own stunts in their movies and thaglt makes them seem more authentic in their Spider-Man characters.
@@jennifersmith3409 i heartily concur! All the lead SPIDER MAN actors including Tobey and Andrew and Kirsten and Emma are good. But Tom & Zendaya take it to another level. Tom is a trained Gymnast & Zendaya is a trained Hip Hop dancer and even did most of the TRAPEZE stunts in her hit film, THE GREATEST SHOWMAN! They were also both Teenagers when they started in SPIDER MAN, as Peter & MJ are in the canon. Tom's youthful energy and enthusiasm are palpable and authentic. And Zendaya's portrayal of the Teen-aged Daria-like character is spot on.
The director had asked Zendaya to "act like Daria" (from Beavis and Butthead) and Zendaya NAILED it! I would have liked to see her as pleasantly smiling and kind and fun AND smart, though. So it will be gratifying to see her character arc in the next trilogy. She could return to the canon of MJ and be a talented, popular cheerleader type (who is also still obviously a genius & maybe Peter's lab partner at university). She is the best of both worlds of Kirsten's MJ and Emma's Gwen Stacey. She sings and dances (as a cheerleader) at a basketball game and she is a brilliant science/math/engineering student who is well-read. A real Renaissance lady of the modern era.
MJ's a Native New Yorker, so her parents ensured she was steeped in culture from a young age. Dance and music and art lessons. Let her lead a great, rollicking cheer - complete with great singing and dancing. Zendaya is also a wonderful artist In Real Life, and it would be great to have her draw Peter Parker in the film and let us watch her do that!

?! Tom Holland is a Brilliant actor! Tom deservedly won the British Equivalent of an Academy Award when he was just a mere Child! Did you see THE IMPOSSIBLE?! Tom was a genius at acting when he was a BOY! And anyone who's seen his films like CHERRY and THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME or his TV show, THE CROWDED ROOM, know that Tom is a Magnificent actor. In that church scene with Robert Pattinson in THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME, Tom's performance pinned me to my chair. I'm a U.S. Southerner and even I can't come up with a Southern accent as good as Tom's is in that scene. Astounding. Robert's is good, but a tad over the top. Tom's is PERFECT. It's as if he grew up here! And his delivery and riveting acting skill in that scene! Whew. I'm still impressed and amazed while typing this.

Tom Holland is a master of accents. Watch that clip of Tom in that church scene with Robert Pattinson in the film THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME. I'm an American Southerner, and Tom's accent is so authentic I literally dropped my popcorn, stunned. If Robert had just been speaking and Tom had not been in that scene, I would have thought Robert had done it about as well as a non-American Southerner could have done it. But Tom! It's as if he Became a Southerner! Robert's accent was good but a touch overdone. Tom NAILED it! I'm still amazed. Talk about dedication to his craft. And his acting. That tension he slowly builds. His justifiably indignant, simmering anger held in check. Whew!
