Prelude in Epic Minor was in my opinion the best. It felt kinda like your older compositions (probably because of the crazy arpeggios) and that's why I liked it so much. Excellent job.
I would be mildly infuriated if he started playing insanely loud music on the piano at midnight when I’m trying to sleep but if he did it during the day then I’d be jamming to those tunes.
You also have to type the timeline you're in. Like for example you live in America and I live in Indonesia, that's more than a 12 hours difference in time. In America it might be a Sunday and you may be doing your thing before you sleep (maybe around 22:00) but then in Indonesia I might be at work just a few hours in (I'm still a lil' kiddo tho) on a Monday morning (Don't know if 10:00 is still morning).
When someone puts the month date then year I get confused even though I was born and I live in America. I think it’s weird because I’m taking German classes and your supposed to write the date date month then year for example today 15/10/19 unlike how America does it 10/15/19.
The joy of Clair de Lune is how simple it is, although it was a bit refreshing to hear more of the chords with a strong bass clef start. Added some more “mmmph” to the chords, which I enjoyed.
Debussy is my favorite classical composer... Honestly, I feel like Debussy had a knack for ramping every song he wrote to epic proportions even in the time in which he lived. In my opinion, Lionel Yu is perhaps the modern day embodiment of Debussy, carrying the torch forward.
I don’t know if it’s just me but I felt really smoothed while he played Prelude in Epic Minor. I don’t know it’s something about how beautiful it sounded, how everything was very colorful and how the colors disintegrated after he played the notes. All in all, I love this 👍👍

I am not entirely sure, what to think of this. On one hand it shows your skilllevel very well and all songs are modified in an epic and still recognizable way. On the other hand, you just killed the feeling and the emotions of the original. Clair de Lune (as example) is a composition that you listen to, while relaxing during a clear warm summer night. Clair de Lunatic is more like drinking a glas of good wine on the lakeside during a autumn storm. Still, over all the way the video is made, is nice.
I mean... isn't that kinda the point... the point is to showcase the opposite possibilities of the same piece. He's not in any way discrediting the classic itself, he's simply saying what if we enjoy this in a different way. It's simply a "theme" and "variation" much like the classical composers were fond of themselves. In the case of Clair de Lune/Lunatic in particular, I think Debussy himself would have been the first to applaud the both concept and result.
I mean, he has the bars coming down onto the corresponding keys.... Slow the video down and write the sheet music yourself and use the slow video as a tutorial and slowly build up to full speed?
Great playing! I really like Prelude in Epic Minor! It reminds me of your old compositions. I really liked GymnoFORSPARTA and Comptine d'une LéGeNdE too.
