Fountain Hills tests your nerves, especially when you are young. I had my hip replaced 3 years ago and still went out and shot 7 under a year before my replacement.
Due to health issues, I haven't been able to play DG in 18 months. At this point, I'd be happy with any score at Fountain Hills. Hoping to make it there and play one of these days. It's one of my favorite courses on tour. ❤️

I love your insight Terry. I watched a video about changes to Jomez, and they talked about how it needs to be more fun. Your coverage is great fun every time. I would shoot about a +40 at Fountain because I would throw in the water about 15 times.
thanks for all the coverage! last time i was in fountain hills from montana i think i shot even on a calm day from AM tees pretty much on point with my 894 rating but more importantly i didnt lose any discs in the water this time!😅
Glad to see AB found his flow on the putting green. He might need to start extending to the left on all his putts regardless if there are any obstacles or not 🤷🏼♂️

Would be 4 or 5 under..birdie the birdie holes.. par the pars...Jeff Homburg told me that advice on my first amateur win in this tournament in 1991.. it was called the Bob West tournament then.. thanks for all you do!!
Never played this layout, Terry, but the regular layout where hole 15 is actually hole 18 in regular layout plus other changes along the north side, I got -5 and still lost a disc in the water, lol.

Another smooth putter to check out is Niklas Anttila. He is famous in Finland for his 'Nikke-Nosto', or Nikke-Lift: seems like he is effortlessy lifting the putter into the basket in C1.
My good day at Fountain a couple years ago was -5 for one round. After my two rounds there this weekend I’m -1 total for two rounds. Good enough for lead card for 3rd day. MP50

AB out there looking like he's still pissed about last week. Damn! Tearing that course UP. If I played smart, I think I could shoot par. If I went for it, I'd be about 6 discs short of a full bag by the end of the round.
I'd have to agree Isaac is the most nonchalant great putter out there today. Cameron Todd comes to mind as another who would just step up and putt without any involved routine.

In perfect conditions I think I’d shoot between -1 to -4. Hole 13 used to have that low hanging branch that was right in front of the tee pad. I’ve played fountain twice and -2 is my best score

I played FH a couple weeks ago and was +4 going into 18 where I sent two drives in a row in the water and ended up +7. Great coverage, go AB.

+7 is my best round on the 20 basket layout, but that was at least 6 months ago. I bet I could hit that score on the Memorial layout now.
Shot 11 under on that course with the original layout, and 7 under with the current layout just 4 years ago. I am 57. :)
