Man, the timing of those shifter trims and boots! I picked up a 97 Deep Fuchsia LE leather car the other week and was looking at anew shift boot! Always with the killer finds and deals!
"Discrepant" IS a word apprently, though I can't say I've heard anyone ever use it before... A good alternative would be "conflicting". This concludes today's language lesson brought to you by the nissanpartscc youtube comments section. I really l ike the spring hose clamps (the black'ish looking one)... those things held up well in an S13 and corrosion doesn't make them any harder to remove... I suppose one could snap in half if it gets rusty enough, but so will the other types... The wire hose clamps with a screw/bolt and a plate on the other hand don't handle corrosion very well. Very hard to get off as the screw/bolt tends to rust into the little plate. which then wants to spin and twist the wires around basically wrecking the clamp. I destroyed most of the ones on my car when I took them off. The worm style clamps as you guys said are junk for the reasons mentioned in addition to not handling corrosion well.
If anyone is in the mid-Atlantic area... next weekend is import nationals in Carlisle, PA. Should be nice weather and a good turn out. As always, thanks for the content, guys ❤

Yea those hose clamps suck. I had to replace fuel lines because they dug into the rubber and caused a leak. Lost a whole tank of gas :,)
