INGREDIENTS
1 Cup = 250 ml
Prep time: 20-25 minutes (doesn’t include soaking time)
Cooking time: 1 hour
Serves: 900 gm cake (2 Pounds)
Soaking dried fruits
Ingredients:
Orange juice 1/2 Cup
Kaale kishmish (black raisins) 3 Tbsp
yellow kishmish (yellown raisins) 3 Tbsp
Tutti fruity 50 grams/ 6 Tbsp
Cherries - 3 Tbsp
Badam (almonds) 3 tbsp
Melon Seeds - 2 tbsp
Cashews- 3 tbsp
1/3 Cup Sugar for caremalising + 1/3 Cup water
For making the cake
Oil - 1/3 Cup (6 Tbsp)
Milk - 1/4 Cup +2 Tbsp
Powdered Sugar - 1/2 Cup (70 gm)
Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp
Maida (refined flour) 210 grams / 1.5 cups
Milk Powder - 1/4 cup
Salt 1/4th tsp
Dalchini (cinnamon) powder ½ tsp+
Jaiphal (nutmeg) powder 1/2 tsp
Saunth (ginger) powder ½ tsp
Baking powder 1.5 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Vinegar - 1.5 Tsp
Dry fruits for topping
