To Aru Kagaru no Railgun has really great moments but its like the author doesn't really know what it is that makes the show so great and keeps shooting past it, hitting only occasionally. But To Aru Kagaru no Railgun is just mile and km above edgy boy show and mister basic protagonist number 13913 I think its bigest problem is that the arthour wants to make it about this highly intelligent science concepts but haven't really done the legwork to fill the shoes of actual science. Some fascinating ideas... yes. but underwhelming to me most of the times. In the end Science vs Magic also just become Science vs Relgion witch is just Facts vs Feels. But here its not even that, just Science-Magic vs Relgion-Magic. Oh well, guess it in the end a great enough consept for a anime, and realy my only complaint boils down to there not being enough of the characters and this world. In a way that great, but in a other way its like food that leaves you hungy and not satisfied. But Misaka is fucking amazing! that much is wihtout a doubt. And whats better than one Misaka? how about 2000 of them! XD yeah that will work
Ya know why? Because this arc is from a Certain Magical Index, and is expanded + 100% faithful to what the LN portrayed, that's why it's this good. Railgun overall is meh, only a decent side story.
Best song so far from A Certain Scientific Railgun.
