Hi, I wanted to know how the Casio projector behaves with ambient light. Since I have the chance to get one used, but well taken care of, to teach. And I can't totally obscure the classroom because students must take notes. Best regards from Argentina.
This projector has a brightness rating of 2700 lumens which should be plenty for your application. In this video, Anthony is using the projector with overhead florescent lights turned on as well as an window open letting in some natural light - the projected image is still bright and clear.
This projector has no USB video input connections so no, you can't connect anything to it via USB to project video. The only video inputs on the device are HDMI and RGB/component video.
@@Touchboards thanks for the response. But I do have the micro USB slot in the projector, and in the manual I remember it reading, that it's used to do software upgrades
Yes, that is correct - the unit has a USB port but it is only for doing software updates. It has no USB video input connections so you can't connect anything to it via USB to project video.
Casio says that the lamp life for this projector is 20,000 hours, but from what you say it sounds like it could be an issue with your lamp/bulb. We recommend that you contact the dealer you purchased the projector from, or contact Casio support: www.casioprojector.com/support
