When my father was alive i never EVER saw him cry, he didn't show when he was in pain and it eventually ended up hurting him. We found out after he died that he told his closest friend that he was having breathing problems but never told us because he didn't want my mother and i to think he was weak. It completely broke me.
Men, don't be afraid to show your emotions.
George thank you for standing up for what you think is right even when that freak is threatening you.
I'm sorry to hear your story, and I'm sorry to say it is a common one. A friend at school wasn't very typically 'manly' as others would put it. He had a passion for design, loved to plant and draw flowers, and wore his emotions on his sleeve. Other boys at school harassed him so heavily for this that he shut down from everyone and eventually left school. I can't find him anymore, but I hope he went somewhere better and I hope I can see him one day to apologize for how people treated him, even if it's not my apology to give.
grew up with a father that was the exact opposite, in my teens i got a ton of compliments on how i can so freely open up to my therapists and doctors even if my situation was horrible and it hurt to talk about it.
It makes a huge difference when things such as vulnerability are normalized when growing up, and i wish more people had the same experience i did. I had to watch my dad cry all the time when i was growing up, he couldn’t have a job for 8 years due to his severe depression and anxiety, and when the same happened to me i didn’t feel shame about it, i just knew i was ill and needed help, and i was able to get the help i needed very easily because of not feeling any shame towards being unable to live a normal life simply because i was depressed
This so called freak also suggest to prioritise mental health, I don’t think your dad did so. We shouldn’t show emotion to family and especially women, but if we have close friends, aka a brotherhood we can share it there. Most men of this generation lacks a real brotherhood. Also meditation and breathing exercises is also promoted by 1st man. Sorry for you loss.
"men like him" men generally, men with balls.
MEN WHO CRY ARE NOT RESPECTED. Women can fucking cry and it's normal. If her man starts bawling, she isn't gonna comfort him. Y'all are dumb.
Men have outlets, like prayer, therapy, their parents. Y'all wanna seriously misintepret 1stman with this soyboy feminist nonsense about "I'm in touch with my feelings." And then who do women pick? Men who cry? lmao.

Lads, if life is getting you down, don't bottle it up and just trudge along because you're expected to. Acknowledge that shit is rough, talk about it, even if anonymously. Everyone has bad days, and you don't deserve to have your emotions and feelings invalidated because you're a bloke. You're a human like everyone else. I've lost a good friend to suicide, and while I can't be sure of the exact details, maybe talking about the shit he was going through would've helped him. It sickens me that people would say that a guy needs to "man up", when theyre going through something that legitimately strains their mental/emotional health.
Men talking about tough times saves lives, trust me it is essential people. Every word this dude said is true.

I mean let’s be honest, that’s usually how these types are. Talk of “showing no emotion” then precede to cry like a baby whenever they get criticised. If anything that’s weak, because in itself you are showing that you are not able to admit that you’re struggling with emotional difficulties, meaning you don’t have that security.

There is always a certain amount of cockiness with TH-camrs in this space, but Kris is pretty level headed and calm from what I’ve seen. He’s got some interesting things to say and his advice has been very practical for me.
The entire 'men cannot show emotion' thing i'll never understand. It's an issue i've been struggling the opposite of. The fact society constructs these ideas about emotion in such a way that people have to bottle everything up sucks. They all preach free speech but not the freedom to share emotion without judgement. Men can't cry or have too strong emotion or their 'weak'. Women can't have too strong emotions or its 'that time of the month' I truly wonder when as a society we all decide to grow the fuck up
It also doesn't answer what exactly people shouldn't be crying at; is someone expected to apply the same emotional suppression to their kid getting admitted to the ER they would everything else?
Probably never...
its not that men cant show emotion, you shouldnt let your emotion be swayed by things it shouldnt be swayed by. if something serious happens then nobody will judge you for emotion obviously but if its not life altering or a very tragic loss then just pick up your boots and keep moving
@@RBLXDignitysHQ hi, I'm a psychology major. The point is that there is not objective metric to determine what is tragic and traumatic and what isn't. Everyone has their own specific weaknesses based on what they've been through. There's no way for you (or anyone) to decide what someone else should be crying over and what they shouldn't. Trauma is subjective, that's literally the first thing they teach you at uni when you major in psychology. So yeah, let men experience the full scope of emotions if you really care about them.

They’ve someone stylised anger as “not an emotion” 😅
i’d much rather have my mates cry on me, than lose them.
one of the main reasons i also dislike andrew tate (i know he’s done much worse.) is because they both push the idea onto young men that to be a “real man” means you have to be rich, smoke, drive fancy cars, and never give yourself a break.
that showing any form of emotion makes them “less of a man” when in reality, “being a man” means nothing.
the strength it takes to be vulnerable with someone, and be comfortable with yourself sounds pretty manly to me anyways.

It’s horrible to think about how many times external stereotypes have stopped a man from getting the help he needs. Both counselling and therapy have largely helped me in the past (I’m a girl btw), and I wish those kinds of support systems were more widely encouraged to a male audience. The amount of men I know that I could list right now who have spoken to professionals about their mental health is slim to none unfortunately, but luckily after a lot of protesting, some of them are starting to talk more openly about their mental health to me and my friends, not the best outcome yet, but it’s definitely a massive step. Hoping for a world where a person of any gender can openly discuss their emotions without the stigma of being seen as ‘weak’. Glad to hear you’ve been talking to people about your emotions, wish more people were able to do the same. Wishing you all the best.
Well I don’t think you would think that if you actually watched his videos, as he has helped many hundreds of men away from suicide and onto a better life in the first place. We often see feminism as fighting for women's rights and that is important, but feminism is the term for equal rights and that also means both genders should have the right to express their emotions in society's veiw without being frowned apon. And on guys being allowed to be sensitive about their emotions and mental health is just as important as everything else we fight for in the community, we have a long way to go and we need to teach younger boys that it's okay to have and show emotions.
Especially with guys like Andrew Tate having thousands of young teenage boys looking up to him and believing what he is saying is right is just going to make it more difficult. Removing the stigma from mental health can save so many lives in the long run.

Sad to announce that men and women aren’t the same. In order for a woman to be attracted to a man she wants someone better than her, that can take care of her (in most cases). A relationship requires a dominant and submissive energy for the polarisation. A dominant energy needs a submissive one and so forth. Most men want to be that dominant energy and most women want to be the submisssive one. And since most women want someone better than them, aka a leader/dominant energy they also want someone who is mentally strong. We men should take care of emotions on our own through journalling and mediation not by crying in front of everyone. Yeah you might get sympathy from the women but they won’t be attracted to you in most cases. Stay strong kings 👑
We respect you so much for being serious in calling him out, George. He just promotes gender essentialism and proves how gender stereotypes and our ideas about sex affect men to the point where they promote the idea that they should carry all burdens. Humans are multidimensional and always display every trait under the sun, including vulnerability as well as strength. It's great to see the commentary community move a bit forward than where it was a few years ago where the main figures in the scene weren't great role models for youth. A lot of young people look up to you and I'm happy you're willing to talk about your thoughts for them to hear.
My dad is a PTSD survivor. He taught me to be open with others and myself and how you can build emotional resilience that way by seeing how closed minded some people are in responding to your vulnerability negatively. He gets upset, angry and anxious in front of me. I've respected him so much more for that. He's also one of the toughest men I know, while being soft and funny all at once. On the day this vid came out, James Marriott did a stream about mental health and it was really validating to not only hear a man open up about his emotional state but help other people to feel better about theirs too.
I like how he threatens so sue yet basically describes Memeulous as "giving him promotion" and arguably blackmail.
I’m extremely emotional, if I feel as if I need to cry, I’m going to cry, I’m not trying to seek attention or make people feel bad for me, I’m just sad, having a good cry and then convincing myself that I can move on from whatever made me sad is my way of coping, and I’m not sure, but I believe that being able to cope with my emotions without trying to bottle them up may be one of the reasons I’m still alive
felt!! i'm such an emo fucker but i couldn't imagine being otherwise
What's up with people thinking they can just sue youtubers for hurting their feelings lately
Bro looks like Andrew Tate and Vsauce combined
I really appreciate you being serious about the topic of men expressing emotions. While guys like 1M can look stupid and be funny to laugh at, the actual repercussions like that should be addressed as you did.
It's a bot DO NOT click the link
I’m sorry but the plant so close to George? Like why’s it basically on him 😭
It’s his emotional support plant. That plant is the true Top G
I first fully respected my dad when I saw him break down in tears when he thought my mum/his wife was dying. It clicked in my head then he was human, like me and not just a father but a real man.
How can he sue for defamation when his whole TH-cam channel and Tiktok is all the evidence you'll need to prove you're telling the truth ?
What a nutter
*Better Call Saul*
Haha
Nothing says 'Stoic, unemotional man' like crying 'LAWSUIT!' at the first sign of criticism...
Oh god oh shit oh fuck im getting QuantumTV Drama Flashbacks
Oh hell naw 😭😭😭
Thanks 1:11 Memeulous for the video, it helped me to look at that baldie from a practical stand point . I had watched 1st man during some low period in life when I was risk avoidant and wanted a full proof success plan... 2 yrs passed by and reality hit me that life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced , surely you can plan for long term and it helps... But life will not go according to your plan, there's always ups and downs. And in real life women are not as bad as 1st man says... Go out explore on your own.
As I found the channel 1st man in my lowest phase, I couldn't see anything wrong with him at all , but after a friend pointed me in the right direction. I understood his manipulation tactics... Of telling men everything is bad and making them sad and only his way was the right way... He did not force these men to think , to figure out their own way .. to solve their problems, that's where I had made a mistake too.
Coming to his content he used to do body language analysis shit and blame western women 4 yrs back and when that did not work he ripped of content from Rollo Tomassi's book The Rational Male and puts them in video form. That's all 1st man followers, no need to suck 1st man's sun tanned balls. Make good friends and someone who is smart would point out that how you're being a manosphere content whore in just a few minutes.
Thanks to George and my good friends who showed me the other side of this Rollo Tommasi's angry grown up child's version's (1st Man's) videos.
This is like a watered down daz and Tate 😂
Commentary channels haven’t exactly been used to spread the best narratives in the past, so it’s a breath of fresh air to see George handle this the way he did
he looks like if you tried to draw Johnny sins from memory
2:09 that didn't work for Andrew Tate lmao. He got booed of the internet when the out of context clips started trending more than his actual advice videos
oh no not you too
Lol
He's not suing you for defamation, he's suing you for deformation
Memeulose: **breaths**
This bald guy: I-Ll sUe yUO"
This is the best rivalry of the decade
1:42 I only saw the community post but didn't see this. I never thought he was _that_ serious about taking you to court
My red pill friends philosophy on "talking about it" goes like.... "If you ain't gonna fix your problem, then I don't care. We all have our own plates to take care of." That to me just seems to have so much greed.
It takes courage to tell others what you are going through and to get the help you need. This makes you more of a man.
The contrast in the comments section here compared to the last video (which was full of desperate 1stman defenders) honestly lifts my spirits so much. Thank you to everyone in this community for shining through ❤
Its such a nice thing to see here
Imagine wanting to sue someone called "Memeulous" because you take them too seriously.
Deformation....? Is that why his head's that shape? 😆😆😆
4:12 it says so much that he felt the need to state that despite it contrasting the general vibe of the Chanel it's nice to see influencers use there position to help people
Kris is the internet version of the local pub bore. All he does is drone on about how much money he makes, his car, how women find him irresistible etc. And as we've just seen, he has 0 capacity for handling banter. At least Andrew Tate is funny.
I remember he said he seduced a woman by standing still and telling her to piss off
George is spot on here, men's mental health is so important and the rise of popularity in these types of people is dangerous for the progress that's been made ❤️
It’s very dangerous, the bald guy is a complete idiot an he’s supposed to be 30 but comes across like a complete child, I lost two good friends because of that idiots BS way of thinking. No one saw it coming because they were to scared to talk about it being a man. Don’t get me wrong Men still think like that , but they shouldn’t . FairPlay on Memeulous pointing this out. Respect for that
Imagin calling yourself a man. But when someone hurts your feeling you got to sue them with your blue collar abundance of money you got handed.
