Oberhof 2023: Women Relay Press Conference

Join the official press conference following the BMW IBU World Championships women relay of Oberhof. Team Italy took an history gold medal ahead of home team Germany and Sweden was third.

Masterclass race for Italy (what a shooting...). Congrats to Germany who was really close (with a pretty good shooting too), and Sweden.
Very nice race, the level was quite high despite the conditions (on the track, + the weather conditions)
ps : Bravo les filles, c'est la plus mauvaise place mais y a de bons enseignements à prendre. en tout cas ce n'était pas une course ratée, le niveau était juste énorme devant.

Kudos to the Italian team This was a big upset. The key to the win was Samuela and Hannah. You knew what kind of performance you were going to get from Dorothea and Lisa so the other two having great legs equaled a victory. Italy has been looking for years for two other quality members of their relay team. This day, they found them. Women's biathlon is the best sport in the world.
