Malik is going to step on the field against Minnesota week 1 and immediately show out. The guy is insane and will make it easy for Wandale, Slayton, Hyatt and Hodgins to get open too. I can’t wait to watch. Let’s go giants

You guys definitely have the enthusiasm of youth. I'm probably about twice your age, and I've seen many,many preseasons where optimism springs eternal. While there are quite a few building blocks in place, individual players can't win on their own. If that were true the Lions would have won several Lombardi's on the back of Calvin Johnson. Somewhere past mid season, we will see if this team has the right chemistry to play winning football or not. The last time we won it all we were 7-7 before it all clicked. Every team has talent, all the players are pros. But only through the grind of the season will we find out if they develop the heart of a winner. Been disappointed too many times to get excited before they prove they are worth getting excited about.
I get what your saying and I haven’t been through nearly as much disappointments with the Giants but I think we all should have a little bit of optimism for each season, it’s a new year and sometimes a single player can make the difference winning an extra 2-3 games, puca proved that to me last year as a rookie. I’m just putting my trust in Daboll and Co and our own guys developing from last year’s adversity
I like that joe schoen goes after younger players that don’t miss many games. Okereke,jon runyan, elumanor, etc. so that gives me hope. Staying healthy is huge. Knock on wood

Hyatt is the guy i really want to see be able to win on the outside. I heard he worked hard this offseason, and would like to see if his route running is better. I think he breaks out this year.

We will see. We were gushing about Kadarius Toney breaking ankles in practive a couple of years ago too. I will be happy if our receivers dont have music careers to worry about at the same time they are playing football.

Maybe it doesn't make a difference to some, but to me what he said translates to saying they have the players & talent to get there.
Hyatt needs to improve his route running significantly, and improve against press coverage on the line, otherwise you just have John Ross Jr!!
Whether or not the Giants are a likely playoff team is moot. I would not expect any player to say they are not on a playoff bound team. Every season is different. Teams that should excel don't, teams expected to lose, win. I'm not saying that I expect the Giants to go 11-6, but I'm not writing them off before the season even begins.

Anthony…do you think they can having a winning season this year? You didn’t seem so sure when you had an earlier podcast with your jets cohost. Did you change your mind? Your guys’ opinion means a lot bc it’s obvious you do your homework!
It all depends on the QB position. If DJ can play at a level similar to 2022, then they should have a chance at a winning season. But if he's injured or underperforms, I think their season will play out very similar to 2023. Also, thank you for the kind words!

Giants never built around Saquan. If that was the case he would’ve had a good O. Line. Saquan made DJs life easier.
Devito and Tayler had games within reach, Jones played so bad that , in his games, the team was DESTROYED!
Can’t contain my excitement for Nabers, Robinson, & Hyatt…Not so much for the QB responsible for feeding them.
To be fair, half of Jones' ints were accurate balls that were tipped by receivers. 3 out of the 6 if I remember correctly. Still, 2 Td/3 int is bad
It all comes back to the offensive line. If they give him a little time, he has some early success and gets his confidence back, Jones will be fine.
Pray for competent OL play and no key injuries to our stars.

The have a great WR group. The problem they have fools gold at QB. DJ is a good person but pure fools gold. A QB that can't get the ball down the field constantly. The offense performed better under both backups last year. My opinion as Giant fan since 1975.
RB’s will be as good as OL. WR-QB and RB all start with OL.
