Actually, you can get hammer from 1-3's HAL room. Touch a glowy spot on the right tree at the end of the level and ranger will appear on a bench along with a target switch, shoot that for a staircase to the room

I will probably try the postgame. Treasure roads probably wont be that interessting, since most of them don't have mouthful modes (and in the ones that do have them you just inhale them once and never spit them out). Edit: Nervermind, I will do one, but I'm gonna change it a bit
Good Video, i did a speedrun of this a couple of days ago, playing with minimum Mouthfulls is truly an interesting challange. The arc mouth skip is also really interesting i have never seen that one, sad that it didn't work
Min Mouthful is probably the best name if it will be a speedrun, because everybody will understand it, but I also the short MMM-Challenge (minimum mouthful mode)

The HAL Room in the level prior has the Hammer ability so you can exploit that glitch.
7:12 I was doing a run of this part and i couldn't so i kinda gave up on it so yeah props on that one
