    I like that reference to half hour per bolt on Aston Martin :-)

    You could have used the starter wrap to keep it cool from the exhaust

    They do the extra steps to bump up repair prices

    Looks like it'd be easier to suspend the engine and lower the subframe. A lot easier.

      That's how a lot of Aston-specific shops do a bunch of different tasks on these cars, but it isn't an option for the vast majority of owners that do their own work.

    After 40 years in the performance car trade I have just watched this video and can't
    actually believe what I've seen..
    The reason the starter has failed is because the standard (required)heatshield
    has been deleted!
    Don't sell people rubbish manifolds that might cause their cars to go on fire!!!

      My starter was failing due to being overworked by an issue in my fuel system. It had nothing to due with heat from the exhaust manifold.
