YESSS OMG! Like all his songs that JYP rejected in the previous episode! I loved the second one so much. This one is nice...but it's anti-climatic just like JB said. I wish JYP would be a little more open minded. Pretty sure those other songs would sell out.
jyp has one specific sound he likes got7 to have for some reason and its inhibiting any growth from them :/ if they were allowed to be musically experimental who knows where they'd be by now
instead of being "held back" by JYP, i think they're both trying to find a sound that will cater to both local and overseas market. while JB's songs might sound good to us, JYP also wants to ensure they capture their homeground fans too. i dunno, rather than just dismissing JYP as someone who doesn't appreciate JB's music, for me, it's more of him sharing with JB his experience and the big picture about the industry because he cares about him and the group as a whole. ^^
faricsyung i see what you’re saying, but when you look at a group like twice as well, he holds them back too. not just with their music but their entire look. got7 and twice are never allowed to be experimental with their comebacks and for twice at least they have a steady audience in korea that will support them no matter how similar each era is, got7 is seriously suffering when JYP refuses to be experimental considering other boy groups nowadays

I just commented this, ngl if GOT7 went this way a bit i wouldn’t mind.
I personally think both JB and Jinyoung are really poetic when it comes to lyrics. Even Youngjae said in the team only JJP have broader stories and poetic sights of even smaller things. Thus why i think JJP verse 2 album were much more superior from any of got7’s album because while its a simple concept, the context were really deep. There is only 2 of them so its probably easier to make a parallel decision on the songs. But it also helps that much to their differences, JJP actually think alike.
Verse 2 is my favorite Got7 album even though its only JJ Project.

Actually the GOT7 members are really great when they do their own SOLO song. Like have you heard JB's song Fade Away? That is a total bops yall need to listen. His song called Rainy is trully my style and is so good. Jinyoung's song The Day is really great, his voice sounds so good there and i feel calm when I listen to The Day. (JJproject's album called Verse2 deserve album of the year tho) Yugyeom's Solo songs (his soundcloud songs) are freaking amazing. This boy has a unique style that is rare in Kpop. Youngjae's solo songs are the best for me. His song called My Day and Trauma is on another level and yall shouldn't sleep on that.

JYP needs to stay away ffs and let them do their thing. i love their solo work more than their group work tbh but their group work is good as well. he just needs to stop interfering and let them compose/produce their music their way.

YG and BB is straightforward style.
JS and Mark have their own style.
Style that no one can copy.

JB is not just another pretty face on kpop. He is more than that.. continue honing your craft as a musician.. great composer..i've heard at least 90% of your published personal composition and it's no joke man. it's pure talent. ur soulful and passionate attitude will roar to greater heights in kpop.. even if i dont understand the korean language.. the beat and the sound of your voice keeps me glued.. i just look for an english translation of the songs to understand the song literally and i must say.. they're coming from your heart.. it's a personal encounter. I truly admire and respect Got7 when they left JYP. That took a lot of courage. Look at what they all have accomplished after that. The fact that they are still together as Got7, while pursuing their individual careers is incredible. Self-respect, guts, amazing talent, love and friendship can really make a difference. Bravo!
Now it's 2021 and jaebeom had his first album which was so good I'm so proud of him
All of my favorite Got7 song : Teenager, You Are, Look are all composed by JB (with the collaboration with other composers too) but he have a HUGE potential in composing. I love his song style best, it has this groovy beat and he does not include electronic noise so its easy to listen

This show just showed me how great JB is, he has the potential to put out incredible music but just because JYP doesn’t love it immediately Got7 fans/ audience never get to hear it. A lot of the time music that is a bit different ends up being just as popular. I think that JYP cares too much about profit and popularity of the music that gets produced as supposed to music that the groups want to put out. JB is a great composer and I’d love to hear full songs of the samples we heard on here x
Even though this is late asl, I'm still gonna say it. JB has so much heart, so much soul in him and it's undeniable in his music. K-pop is very consumer based not alot of songs with heart n depth just poppy stuff. But his music is really different and I love it. Waiting on this def ep to drop (can't wait). But for sure GOT7 is and forever will be my favorite kpop group because of how much heart they have as a group and as soloists.

Rainy is one of my top fav song from JB. For everyone new to him, please give it a listen for his songs, they are all sooo good. His preferred fav is my fav as well, which is *Prove It* and *Fade Away*. Other songs i recommend are:

7 for 7 was the perfect example of what happens when you give GOT7 free reign. It is by far my most favorite GOT7 album, then there's Eyes on you and Present you & me, then Spinning Top. Verse2 and Focus are on a different level altogether. Masterpieces in their own right.
Add to that Call my name and now DYE(though i have some complaints with the title song) ^^
@@vel7609 Yeah, even though I really enjoyed DYE title song, it wasn't produced by any of the members. I don't mind though, since good music is music no matter who produces it and GOT7 can pull off anyone's song, but when it comes to their personal style, the B-sides produced by the members were amazing. Call My name title track was again produced by someone outside the group and Jaebeom only co-wrote the lyrics, yet YCMN is a masterpiece. Still the albums I mentioned before had a distinctive GOT7 flavor to them and still stand as my most favorite GOT7 albums.

Yeah I was angry for this too to compare JB's songs to his at all times. Like I did this chord and it's work so it's will work for you too or because it don't work with me so It won't work for you too. Because yes the song to work for you JYP but that does not necessarily mean that it will work with GOT7 or JB too. It is not the same audience, same years or age and therefore it is not necessarily the same musical tastes and it seems like he does not take this fact into account

I downloaded the song right away after I knew it had released. I didn't know the meaning and didn't watch how JB performed beforehand. I just listened to it right away. And I really love it just by my first listen. Not because of I stan him so I like all of his songs. There are some that didn't really suit my taste but this song really 100% just very good. Rainy is a very nice song. I couldn't describe much. I love to play the song all the time. And finally watching this made me realized how much JB worked hard to make this and boiiii you did great!
