Great video. I have learned a lot from your videos, My wife and I watched from the start of your trip. You have become a master and so confident maneuvering your boat. That gives us confidence since we have never boated before but would like to try this when we retire
I came across this a couple of episodes ago and went back and watched from the start - fantastic vlog. Our boat is in Scotland and this has been really inspirational in what you can do.
As we are in Northern Michigan and our boat is tucked into bed for the winter, I love hearing the sounds of the Cummins (and the thrusters) doing their thing! Good reminders of what we have to look forward to when we splash in the spring. 😊 BTW, very exciting footage of the Blue Angels and especially your private air show w/ the helicopter training exercise…and then the whitecaps and whistling wind was the cherry on top (although I don’t ever miss being out in conditions like that!)
Enjoyable video as usual. Your Cummins have a pleasing grumble when you are leaving your dock. I am quite impressed by the slickness of your transmission -- it looks like your engines go in and out of forward/reverse very smoothly, no big CLUNK noise or jerkiness. Lumpy seas there at the end, but not too bad. Your boat is big enough to handle a 3' chop without much fuss. But your boat has a fairly high superstructure so I bet it could be a handful to dock in high winds.
Yes, the enclosure on my flybridge is large and extends over the back portion of the boat creating a large sail area. That does create a handful when docking in the wind.
Amazing Naval Aviation day!!! Boo all the wind. Saw you heading east to set up for your crossing. Safe Travels! We left the Wharf Marina and headed three miles west. We went alongside the dock at Lulu’s. Our beam was a little too big for the slip. It was great to listen to the music. Felt like we were in Key West. The next few days we spent heading to New Orleans in the wind. 💨 We had beautiful weather starting in Bay St Louis. Have a great Thanksgiving. MV Cetus
Your boat handling skills are impressive. I hope to master that one day. Went back and watched all of these and caught up in time for the new one to drop. Keep up the good work!
Love Mobile, OB, Gulf Shores area. Haven’t been to Lulu’s in a long time. Keep the engine sound and operation stuff. Currents, wind, expensive boats everywhere… sure keeps the juices flowin’ in tight marinas😬
I really enjoyed this leg of your trip, not to say all the others were not as interesting. As for engine noise, I did not think anything was undesirable so I guess it was alright. You have certainly improved your boating skills from when you started. Congratulations! Thank you for recording these videos to keep us entertained. Safe travels.
Really enjoy your videos! Have you thought about having/planning a meet up with your fans/watchers? My sister in-law has a TH-cam channel and has held several. We will be in Naples for most of the winter and would love to meet you in person.
The worst video of everyone's journey has to be their stop at Lulu's. She isn't a celebrity. Can you imagine the cringe level the employees experience every time someone asks? You even made it your thumbnail. Of all of the things to take note of in the area, that was the lead-in? I'm skipping this one because I can't bear it again. I have a hundred stories to tell about Orange Beach, Perdido Key, and Gulf Shores and he isn't in any of them. I shot pool with him in Mobile once and saw him in concert in Savannah. He played Gulf Shores once or twice maybe? Its ridiculous.
@@MV_CheckmateI appreciate the adventure. My wife and I have been planning this trip for a few years. Unfortunately due to her health and medical facilities dealing with her diagnosis would not be readily available we are now just living vicariously through your videos. So please keep it up. God Bless
I like the engine sound joining in. It denotes realism.
I agree. The engine noise makes it more authentic.
Great video and totally love the engine sounds!
Glad you enjoyed!
Best loop videos! Thanks for continuing to post.
Thank you for watching!

Wow, thanks!
Nice video with good details. I like hearing the engine noises since you asked.
I appreciate that.

Put me in the group of liking the engine sounds.

Love the engine sounds. Takes me back to our cruising days on AICW
I love those sounds too.
I like the sound of the engines, I would vote to keep that sound.
Thanks!
Loving the engine noice… I’d definitely keep it in, makes it real. I’ve twin 370 VPs so love the sound of big diesels……
Right on!
Awesome video thanks for taking us along for the cruise.
Thanks for joining me on the journey!

Another fantastic video. I thought you didn’t release a video today kept seeing a picture of some woman and would pass it by my bad it was you 👍👍
I did the same thing!

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words.

Yes, that is a great area.
Your engines sound very good!
Thanks!

It’s a possibility.
Should have stayed at ft McRae it a awesome anchorage
Would a hair dryer help with the condensation on your issenglass ? There may be a danger of heat damage though . Enjoyed the music at the end also !
Thank you for the video, not much to say.
Thanks for watching!
Keep the engine sounds, but w/o any amplification. I.E. complete natural engine sounds, however they sound to the mic.
Thanks. By the way, that was the real sound, no amplification.
Haven’t seen any posting since EP#32. Hopefully all is well
EP#32 was just 3 days ago. I post a new video each and every Monday morning. Thanks for watching!
You need to start off by asking? Have you had another scooter incident? He’s a mad man on his scooter!!😄
How much more time do you have before you get home?
I’m hoping to be home by the end of the year.
Are you supposed to tip those guys on the dock?
Yes.
The engine sound is better!
Thanks for the comments.
Do not mute
Copy that.
If Isenglass has all this gotchas why does it seem to be so 'must have' these days ?
It keeps out the rain, the wind, and the cold. Otherwise it’s a pain in the Patuukie.

I do understand where you are coming from, however, it still spawned a lot of positive comments, which I appreciate. Have a great day. Cheers.
