Senores ~ I also grew up listening to Miguel Aceves Mejia, Julio Jaramillo and later Vicente Fernandez, in the Garden of my Grandfather's Adobe house on very old scratchy records in California. Your music sounds what I feel in my heart from those times I carry with me always and I listen to you many days in my little Casita I call Nuevo Baja in the Foothills of Santa Barbara. I have tickets to see you here in our oldest theater, The Lobero, which just celebrated its 150th Anniversary. As an over 40 year resident of Santa Barbara which I am known to know quite well around here, if there's anything I can tell you or help you know about our Historic town before you visit I am happy to do so. I look very much to seeing and hearing you in person ~ my favorite songs of yours are El Jardin and Tres Hermanos, for which I named 3 huge Cactus Brothers I have in my yard , and El Lobo Blanco, for my very white and wild Pyrenees dog Fiona.
