With so many logo designs out there, companies such as Airbnb, Beats by Dre, and Flipboard have been accused of plagiarising their logos designs. But are these logos stolen, or simply a coincidence

As a designer of logos myself, part of our process is after we all made logo attempts, we google around to see if we’ve accidentally made a logo too similar to someone else’s, but its very difficult to find them if they do exist. Its very likely that if the mark is simple, someone probably did something similar at one point across history. People reach the same solutions all the time!

agreed, it has happen to me before giving the logo to client, especially in minimal logos, but Airbnb logo is beyond accident!

It's really interesting to see coincidences like this. I would be the first to say that companies stole logos from each other. 😂

I am a Designer and i do understand especially in minimal design this can happen but Airbnb logo is definitely a copy.
