Lyle Beniga is an extremely well respected choreographer in the hip hop dance community. You need to accept that black culture is never going to disappear from the mainstream. Black people are the most talented creators on the planet-you really think the world is going to ignore it? Millennials are the least racist generation yet and I’m sure the fact that they grew up with black culture being mainstream had a lot to do with that. You need to move forward. I suppose you think other races should stop practising martial arts because they are appropriating Chinese culture?

Hip hop is like martial arts. It’s here to stay and it’s never going to stop being consumed by people all over the world. Accept it. It’s just too amazing. I recently went to the wu tang concert and they were CELEBRATING the fact that it was such a diverse crowd. They are literal originators in hip hop so I think their opinion holds more weight than yours.
