How to apply for Transcript in VTU through EDGS

- Steps to apply for Transcript Certificate through EDGS:
1. Go to the VTU website (vtu.ac.in/en/)
2.Click on “Document through EDGS” option. The following link will open: edgs.karnataka...
3. Create/Register your account
4. You will receive a link through e-mail to reset the password
5. Click on the link and set your new password
6. Now, login using the new password
7. You will get a OTP through SMS as well as e-mail
8. Enter the OTP and login
9. Click on services
10 Then click on “Apply”
11. Fill in the details and click on submit.
12. Now you will get a pop-up to make payment. Click ok and make the payment through UPI / Net banking
You will receive 2 mails :
Application submitted
13. Payment successful (You can download receipt in this mail)
14. Next click on ‘Student Application’ option to check the status of your application.
15. Select ‘Transcript’ option.

I have got to know that there is a change made by VTU in the process to apply for documents. Please do search for the new method once before applying for PDC/Transcript.

Hai thanks for giving this information, but I apply the pdc on 28 December still I didn't get any pdc on this edges to download, all documents I submitted through email as per tot suggested on TH-cam video.....
If you have followed the method from PDC video on this channel then you will receive hardcopy of the document sent by post.
If you have applied through the EDGS method shown in transcript video then you will receive softcopy of the document through email. ( P.S: You can also download the softcopy by logging into EDGS portal under the "Applications" tab.)
Small doubt :
How can I get my semester wise marks of all subjects..
I downloaded my transcript today .. but the data was in GRADES NOT in MARKS ..
And I don't know the exact total marks of my 4 th semester. Subject wise I know the total, but my project mark I don't know (only grade I know )
Can I apply for consolidated statement of marks with a rough figure ?
Because in the application form they are asking for total marks scored in each semester . And I'm only missing out on that project mark
You can check the marks from online result declared after each semester.
If you haven't saved a copy of that maybe you should approach your mentor from college as they might have a saved one.
Also as for consolidated marksheet I haven't applied for it so I'm not sure if an estimate mark will work....

I got the transcript within 3 days.
For the NON CBCS part, register on EDGS portal and check if it has transcript option.

Well, I'm not sure of the offline method.
But, check out the PDC video on my channel.
You can apply for transcript in the similar way and you will get the transcript by post.

How long do we need to wait for PDC it’s been 5 days but still it is in process
Did you check your spam folder if you have received any mail from VTU?
If there is no email in spam folder also then login to EDGS portal and see what status it shows.

It takes maximum a weeks time. So you might most probably get it within 2 days.
