The Raven has always been one of my favorites. Not only because its a robot that can surprise enemies very well but also because running it with skills often results in success. But what I love most about it is that its - in my opinion - an extremely well balanced robot. No stealth - no invincibility - but mobility and not too much of it. Walking speed is slow - but the combined jumps make it super fast when both available. Only one of the jumps barely gets you anywhere. This amazing play in how you use its ability makes this thing an awesome robot that fits perfectly into WR in every single way.
Where is separate game modes on gameroom and steam version of war robots ?

Raven is my favorite skill bot. Favorite build is spark/scourge mid range and I’m deadly with the arbalest/ballista sniper. Keep up the awesome worke dude,

There's one thing this otherwise "perfect" robot has that isn't good....
The upgrade cost.
Both in terms of silver, and in time.
The Raven was the first bot to have a 170,000,000+ silver cost and over a month of upgrade time.
Yeah.. The Raven was the beginning of the New Economy that is making those who don't already have maxed-out equipment struggle to compete in higher leagues.
And its just a griff copy, so it's still pretty sh|tty bot, just at a high cost! This current "econemy" is why we are seeing all the old bots/weapons get nerfed, so they are not viable at higher league play, so you must get newer stuff at a crazy higher cost to be competitive.
Some bots upgrade cost dropped a little, but raven is still expensive for no reason. Example: Inquisitor
Ok, you got a point there. I was refering to balancing only with its HP and ability. Upgrading costs are a whole different thing of couse.
Manni is doing Raven bc it's not good.
If he were doing something good, like ares, he would be exposed for never criticising pixonic's model of making overpowered bots and its cancerous effects on the WR community.

The only reason this build works at all, is it's FFA. Because it's FFA ppl don't run long range bots usually, so yes, a 300M bot can work on a long range map when pretty much everyone else is about the same range...
Try this bot on a beacon game and I bet he's toast within 2 minutes... so basically long enough for the slow poke to get to the fight, then croak!
Hm... It depends. Raven on Valley for example is the best you cna run as your first robot because you will always be the first on the center beacon. Some maps are really amazhing to have the Raven on BR.
@@ManniGaming Not sure if you get there over a kumi.... but back when this bot first came out I tried him out for just that reason, and was dead before landing from double jump. Mind you, a different time in the game... That was when spec trains ruled and everyone had them. But that was also before modules...
Raven is great until you face Ares or Ao Jun or someone with lock down weapons. Manni deliberately uploaded a video where nobody used these things. He always manipulates his viewers like this. Also how often do you see opponents in FFA who hasn't got last stand? Of course when playing against master league players.
wow you're so wrong on so many levels. you either are not good with raven or dont even own one. i use raven on champion level and is one of my main lineup. it is a really powerful bot if you know how to control it well..

The raven is a griffin, but better at everything. Same firepower, has two jumps instead of one, has more health, has less cool down for jumps, and has a better walking speed. I assumed since it was a really mobile griffin, it’d have less health. But I guess I was wrong, because I’m destroying ares and Ao juns with it.

I agree with you manni, the raven is a good robot when played well with in champion league, both in FFA or team play. If it had increase speed and more jumps it could be really good. I think it is a better looking robot than the newer stuff too.

Manni, your opponents didn't have any Ao Jun, lock down Ares or last stand module. You can't compete against these robots with Raven even when use last stand.
Totally true . It's not a bad robot, but compared to the meta is weak
I agree. In addition, by playing any other mode you could face a clan using those robots maxed out so that's even worse and the current nightmare in champions league

Play in Beacon Rush with it. Most players don’t play free for all. We wanna see it perform on Beacon or Dom.
Raven is actually one of the best robots to have in Beacon Rush (on some maps). Valley for example. You are the fastest on the center beacon and some other maps, too. :)

To win with raven, u need maxed firing power. 2 gusts and storms kill spectre everytime in the air with anti stealth. Thats my set up. Raven is useless agaimst ares though. Ull lose 100% of the time.
Since you killed the falcon after the match ended, your kills stayed at 11 and not 12. The kill was displayed but kill count wasn't 12. The timing couldn't be more perfect. Fired upon during the match but died after it ended.

It’s so much fun watching these old videos and remember how awesome it was back then. Nowadays there is so much happening on the battle field. Between insanely fast robots there are drones, battleships etc.

But no it is my everyday frustration that it's a 'CHANCE'
The fact that my opponent need little to no skill cuz of it but since my Chances seems to go somewhere else perhaps to them... I had to play three times harder !!
Raven needs a buff. Jump recharge should be 12secs or 10secs. It shoukd have more hp.
